You should have just told him that you found the paperwork. Now it seems like you are treating him like a child, you gave him the opportunity to lie.
If the two of you live together and have joint accounts and pay bills together then he should have told you.
I would be concerned about what he needs that kind of money for. If he can't manage his money I would not be sharing accounts with him.
Unless he comes clean with you I would seriously reconsider getting married to him let alone buying a house with him.

Hm mm that's an awful big loan, maybe he has a problem you don't know about, and with $2500 being used and you don't see anything new coming into your house it maybe going up his nose or on the ponies. I would get to the bottom of it, and after looking at your spelling and grammar I wouldn't sign my name anywhere, God knows what you will be signing.

Off to a bad start. Pay attention to he signs that you should not marry this person, and if you do,,, you know what the future holds, so hold on and don't complain. The chance is now to make the right choice for you. Be wise.

this is something that should not matter to you as long as he's paying it back... he is probably worried about how yous will make it, leave him alone when it comes to him financially supporting you :) :) :)
