JC ,it was not a" minority" who commit violence it was thousands of muslims in manny islamic republic acting exactly in the same way ,and the police was not taking any attitude ,when outraged muslims attacked ambasies,attaking an amasy its a declaration of war .And how u muslims expect that this massive violent demonstrations and attacking of the ambasies should be not televised ?? So everything was just a "lie" ,or just "american and sionist propaganda " ,right ?? so lets turn off our tv and pretend that all this violent demonstrations never hapaned for the sake of " islamic truth", right muslims ??.....how pathethic

For all those who try poorly to demostrate that those who commited violence for mohamed cartoon was a minority ! U r just liars ! It was NOT a minority !! It was a massive ,huge violent demonstration across the whole Middle East and islamic countrys from Africa ! In all this countrys ambasies were attacked and police just watched they did NOTHING to stop this !STOP LIENG !!

For starters, islam DOESN'T mean "peace". George W. Bush made a grave error when he perpetuated this mistake.
islam means "submission" as in submission to Allah.
muslims cannot demonstrate peacefully en masse because it is not part of their religion.
Muhammad was one of the greatest warriors of our time, conquering lands with his army with very brutal and terroristic tactics. You can see his legacy today in modern day terrorists

The truth is Islam does not mean peace. Salam means peace.
Islam means submission to God. Having said that, no faith will ever feel peace unless the people within it feel peace.
I have found peace for myself in Islam; I wish the other; especially, some of the Arabs would see and find what I have found. I wish they would as it is put grow up and go on with their lives. Things are done the way they are done for a reason. That is the way that I look at things.
Violence should never be allowed in the name of Allah (the God) it shouldn't be allowed at all. Violence does not solve anything.
Remember there is no peace in a religion if people themselves within the religion are not peaceful. I myself for myself have found peace in Islam, because that is what I was looking for and I accept things as they are. Perhaps my Muslim counterparts should do well to pay attention more as to what they are really doing - throwing tantrums because they are not getting their way.
We don't always get our way, we have to move on and accept things as they are. That's the logical way.

It depends on which Muslims you decide to give your attention to. Are you giving your attention to Muslims on tv or the ones in your community?
Do you know what two people say to each other when they see each other? They say "Assalam o alaikum". Do you have any idea what that means? It means "may the peace and blessings of God be upon you." Why would "terrorists" say that to each other? Just think about how the media is trying to manipulate you. Make yourself less stubborn and just try to think about that.
If you want an unbiased answers, then go find a copy of the Quran in english. Good luck.

Islam in general is peaceful. I have some friends that are muslims and they're fully educated and integrated members of society but of course there are always the radicals who have now cast a shadow of fear for Islam. The moderates should stand up to these filthy radicals and tell the world that muslims are not violent people but so far they have not done so and that is why Islam is being perceived as violent. We gotta take these radicals out and kill them all.

Because you're judging a fairly large group of people based on the highly televised minority of its violent members.
It would be like if you assumed all Christians were apesh*t crazy because images of people bombing hospitals and beating gay people to death was representative of the whole.
