When did we slam Jesus? Just because we don't believe he's God in human form doesn't mean we are slamming him. Why are YOU generalizing?

I beg to differ. I don't know any Pagans that slam Jesus. Most of us rather like him as a matter of fact (though we don't view him as a God figure) and we feel sorry for the way his message has been twisted to suit the purposes of the selfish, vain, greedy powermongers of the world.
I personally place him in the Great Person category, along with Mother Theresa, Ghandi, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and others.

Funny, most Pagans I know don't "slam" Jesus - most of the opinions I've seen is that he was a good teacher with some good ideas, but he wasn't the literal Son of God. If that's what you consider to be a "slam" then so be it, but personally I think you're looking for a reason to be indignant where none exists.

I'm pagan, and I personally have no problem whatsoever with Jesus. In fact, he seems like a pretty cool guy to me. I just choose not to worship him. Why would anyone want to defeat any deity anyhow?

I'm pagan, and I don't slam Jesus. I have no problem with him, he lived, and died 2000 years ago, he has no meaning in my life at all. He's dead, he's been defeated already.

I don't really have a problem with Jesus, I have a problem with Christians and repeatedly hearing from them that I'm going to THEIR hell for not believing in it. You don't hear Pagans telling Christians that if they don't repent of their Christianity Anubis is going to devour their heart when they die or Odin isn't going to let them into Valhalla do you? On the occasion when I do slam Jesus, it isn't because I have a problem with his teachings, it's because Christians call my Gods false,so I feel it's fair to turn the situation around and let them see how it feels.EDIT: Oh, by the way, it's "adamant".

It's not Jesus I have a problem with at all, it's Christianity. (Keep in mind Christianity was created by Paul, not Jesus).

Besides, most Pagans don't pick on Christianity in the least. I might be one of the very few exceptions because I'm an EX-Christian and hate getting dumb e-mails from people lecturing me about devil worship and threatening me with hell, fire and damnation because I have a different religion.

I'm Pagan, but don't think there's anything wrong with Jesus. How about that?

you do not understand what a 'pagan' is! a pagan is someone who works with the earth... not against it. there is no propaganda outside of that. The early church called the people on the outskirts of the 'Kingdom' the pagans because they weren't involved with the church... hence villagers = villans... interesting, no?

even Jesus had his feet washed by others.

I've never heard anyone slam Jesus. General consensus from most people is that he was a pretty darn decent guy, whether they believe in his divinity or not.

Be careful you're not being deceived and looking for things that aren't there.
