Sure, if you had no income he can claim a spousal deduction. The amount will be listed on the tax return.

He doesn't "claim" you, you just file a joint return. You don't have to work yourself to do that. You get your combined exemptions and favorable tax rates as well.

Not sure what you mean by "claim me". I don't work, but we still file as married, filing jointly.
