stick with National defense and army service ribbon. Unless the soldier had deployed overseas, thats all he would really have.

If combat veteran, stick global war on terrorism medal amd Iraqi freedon medal.

For a USMC PFC, they would likely only have the National Defense Medal and a shooting badge.

But, you said soldier, so I will assume you are talking Army. That I do not know, but I am guessing the above answer looks reasonable.

Just so it is known, you cannot make a film with an official uniform. In hollywood, if an actor is wearing a uniform, there are mustakes made purposely as it is against the law to impersonate a government/ military person. Take the move A Few Good Men. All those in uniform has some "mistakes" in the set up of the uniform.

One exception to this was the movie Full Metal Jacket. The DI in that movie is a retired Marine, and was also a DI at Marine Corps Boot Camp. Since that was his uniform, and the medals and such were actually earned by him, he was allowed to wear an official uniform.

Fishing Nets! they are large cheep, yet provide relatively some room to hold relatively some ribbons. And it seems kinda cool too =) in basic terms carry it up on your partitions with 2 nails or despite on each and every corner.
