Yes not too long ago I read people who get 5 or less hours of sleep per night will have risk for weight increase while people getting 8 hrs fare better at keeping weight off. Stress probably has a lot to do with it.

Not getting enough sleep prevents your mind from making healthy eating choices. It also doesent give your body sufficient rest to carry out its normal functions. 7-8 hours of sleep a night is perfect. Also, waking up to natural sunlight has been proven to boost your metabolism! Hope that helps.
