Yes. He also said that His Gospel would be preached to all nations, and then the end would come, and He Himself would return (Matthew 24:3-14).
It would be no problem IF the "other Messenger" was truly proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. But the problem is, that the "other Messenger" you are speaking of, did not preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, not the truth about it. The "other Messenger," when he spoke of Jesus, spoke lies. Jesus Himself prophesied that this would happen, that False Messengers would arise with lies. And this "other Messenger" is an example of that.
Most of the lies I have run across are in The Qur'an's Surah 3 and Surah 4. They contradict the truths which Jesus Himself taught about His own Sonship, which is a fundamental element of His Gospel. (The Qur'an, Surah 4:171, in part states: "Allah is only One God. Far is it removed from His transcendent majesty that He should have a son.")
One lie is in Surah 4:157, where it is said that Jesus was not indeed crucified, but that people were misled concerning His death. This is yet another lie, because the Qur'an purports Jesus as a Messenger from God, yet here again, distorts the truth which Jesus Himself proclaimed about His own death and resurrection.
There are a couple of more lies I would like to find and quote here. I hope that in the span of the next two days I am able to do so, and edit my answer so that it contains all of those which I know about. Because all of these lies together, constitute a butchering of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. (Therefore, the "other Messenger" is revealed to me as a False Messenger, and not a Messenger of Truth on the continuum of God's revelation to mankind.)
These are scary times for those who turn away from the truth. Jesus stated in the Holy Bible, John 14:6: "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." The "other Messenger" (Muhammad) has claimed that Jesus was a valid Messenger, yet Muhammad has torn apart even the truth which Jesus proclaimed. It is almost like Muhammad was saying: "This Jesus, He was a True Messenger from Allah -- But Be Warned: Do Not believe Anything He said!!"... which is a self-contradictory statement. I want to encourage all people to seek truth, and not fall prey to books that are full of contradictions of truth.
Jesus IS the way, the truth, and the life. Period.

The Muslims don't believe that Jesus is the Son of God only that He was a prophet. The reason there are distinct differences between the Bible and the Quran is because the Bible is inspired by God and the Quran was written by Mohammed.

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ , the same yesterday, and today and forever.
THE TRUTH NEVER CHANGES!
Christ is the TRUTH John 14:6 Jesus said , I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE no man cometh unto the Father but by me.
In Galatians 1:8 ( Apostle Paul speaking) But though we (the apostles) or an ANGEL from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you;
let him be accursed. (verse 9 repeats the warning)
There are no other messengers. We are not EVEN to believe an ANGEL if they preach any other gospel than the gospel that JESUS TAUGHT.

Excellent question. There are no differences between scriptures. There are no differences between different prophets and different incarnations - i mean Mohammad, jesus, Krishna, Rama, Budda and so on. God sent them to different people with different cultures in different parts of the world at different times so that their message makes sense to that particular people in that particular tradition and in that era. If you remove those differences the essense of all their messages is the same.
All scriptures are inspired writings of experiences and history of God's works. When you interpret the "word" in the spirit of God- the rightous spirit and not by the literal meaning of the language and look beyond the traditions of the era in which they were written and try to apply the spiritual meaning to today's society, todays traditions, the differences of interpretation disappear; the differences in denominations disappear.
I know most preachers do not agree with this interpretation. I proved to myself that God's Spirit is the same whether you practice, Hinduism. Christianity or Islam and whether you call it a Prayer or Meditation or other.
God Bless.

Mohamed made up the Koran and the Islamic religion around an idol of the moon god so he could gain control of the people. The Bible and the Koran have nothing to do with each other.

Uh...I don't think Muslims believe in Jesus. If they do, I doubt they think He is the son of God or anything. If he's not there, that pretty much negates anything He said.

Well, I guess that means that either the Qur’an is correct or the Christian bible is correct and not both. (Or neither could be correct)
