During World War II the most famous woman sniper was a Russian. She is Lyudmila Pavlichenko. She's got over 300 German soldiers confirmed kills.

It's a fact that the Soviet Union also used women for sniping duties extensively and to great effect.

Well all of the others are wrong. Sit back, and read the real, accurate answer to this question.

The answer is....

TICKLE ME ELMO.

Tickle Me Elmo, or St. Elmo's Firing Squad as he was known during the Great War(or St. Elmo for short), was the world's best sniper. Many Americans think Carlos Hathcock is the world's best sniper, and etrovick would be the answer from the russians. however St. Elmo Was a sniper during both Great Wars. St. Elmo proved that there are no targets that could not fall into submission to: TICKLE ME ELMO. By the way, an interesting unknown fact about Tickle Me Elmo, If you rearrange the letters of his name, you come up with: MEEK CLIT MOLE. Highly well deserved for the ten point BEST ANSWER wouldn't you say.
DR. D.

I don't know about now but in Bosnia in 93/94 there was a serbian chick who was consistantly nailing guys at over 600m using a G3 with iron sights.

That's good shooting in anyone's books.

i dont believe women can be snipers in the military, because they cant be in any "diret" combat positions. I know for sure they cant be in any special operations units like navy SEALS. but i dont know this for sure
