I did not think I was in love with him but now he is on a church mission. I am physically ill. my heart is aching and for the life of me I should be old enough to know but I don't. We email and snail mail he says he loves me but I don't know if it is love like love or love like friendly love. He says if I ever start dating younger men he better be the first.

13 years isn't a problem if you are 39 or more. I am more concerned with your profile that says you have a husband and love your family. THAT's NOT good.

it depends how old the two of you are...if you are 30 and he is 17 theres something wrong..if you are younger..that means he is even younger..and that way wrong too.
There is different in maturity and ..depends how young he is..might even be illegal.
