can u fail a drug test being around 2nd hand marijuana smoke?

i am around marijuana smoke but do not smoke it and i am drug tested every month by the state will my test come up positive

No way if it's not eye burning Bar room looking smokey. Or like when the heads fall out of the van in Fast times at Ridgemont High. You would have in the bathroom for hours with thick smoke for you to possible get enough to show 1 or 2 nan a grams. If your that worried about it take niacin, drink water w/lemon juice (lemons are a natural diuretic ). and take AZO standard 4-10 days before the test. You really have no worries. I've been where you are and I tested negative every time. Hope this helps you or put you at ease anyway.

I honestly don't know if that has ever affected anyone before. But if you think about it logically, 2nd hand smoke can be unhealthy for you. I would imagine that 2nd hand marijuana smoke could show up as a positive. Oh, and it will stay in your system for around 90 days, so if you are taking a hair sample test, be prepared. A urine test isn't as accurate, so you may be okay. You may want to avoid being around marijuana so much.

It would have to be in a closed room for a long period of time. The THC level has to be at a certain level to test you positive and standard second hand smoke is no where near that level.

Yes, you can get a false positive if you are around a lot of it, very frequently. They will be able to tell its not you smoking though.

NO....Its called a false positive....They can tell the difference between someone who does smoke and just being around it....I wouldnt worry too much...

i doubt it. if you do test positive, most states have laws that you can demand a retest, or they used to. but dont worry about it unless they hotbox the car a lot and u know your stoned
