Weight Loss is hard and 200 crunches do not burn tons of calories but they help with muscle buildup. I do 1000 every day and have never lost a pound in one day. But keep doing them and youll see results!

Crunches won't help you loose the weight. They just tone your body. (Crunches by the way, are the worst exersise you can do). They really screw with your back, and neck muscles. Try laying flat on your back, put your legs together and raise them a few inches. Hold for 5 seconds, come down. Go up and hold for 10. Then 20. Do three reps of those, and you WILL feel it in the morning. The reason you may have lost more weight eating oreos than doing the cruches may not have to do with what you are eating at all. Burinng the calories, however, will help your loose the weight. Is it possible that you did more running around the day you ate the oreos? Did you drink a lot of water? Water is the FIRST thing you will loose. Sleep will also play a factor. Maybe you slept better the night before you ate the oreos. Either way, from personal experience, try to get away from the crunches. I promise, you WILL feel the pain in your stomache in the morning if your try the leg lifts. You can feel it in your tummy while your are doing it. The muscles get so tight. You can work up to lifting your legs up a foot or so, but I wouldn't start with that, unless you are really used to working out. Good luck, and be careful!

2 pounds could just be water weight. Crunches alone will not help you lose weight- or even spot reduce around the midsection. Weight loss boils down to calorie intake versus calorie expenditure. If you want to lose weight AND tone your midsection, you must do cardio as well- shoot for 30 minutes per day of moderate activity. Also, don't necessarily count calories (or oreos), but start a food journal. Treats are good every now and again, but if you find yourself getting frustrated, a food journal can show you where you have been cheating as opposed to treating. In addition to crunches, you also should add some weight training. Increased muscle mass helps speed your metabolism, and while your weight may stabilize at a point, the muscles will make you feel stronger and more toned.
Good luck!

Weight loss/gain doesn't work like that...it's a process.
What you eat appears on the scale a week later. It takes the body time to process the food into fat.
The same goes for working out. It takes the body about 2 weeks to see the results of STEADY exercise.
When you lost the 2 pounds, it was due to what you did last week.
A lot of people who start exercising get excited when they see after the first week they lost 7 pounds. What they don't realize is that they are dehydrated and it was all water.

losing pounds doesnt happen in a split second and if it does its only the water frm ur body resulting frm sweating
crunches isnt the best way to lose the pounds....even if u do 500 crunches within the day....it might jus increase ur muscle mass

200 crunches can't possibly make u lose a pound...barely even 200 calories. I do more crunches than that sometimes at once. 300 and something

First you do not lose that fast as in one day and if you did it probably would just be water loss. Plus if you did that many crunches then you added to your muscle mass and muscle weighs more than fat does.
