i cannot see any reason why my question was deleted! its a serious question! i want to know if there might be something wrong, like a hormonal inbalance or something! gees! the email i was just sent said it contained adult content! ugh! not true! NOT true! im angry!
anyway, my question is/was:
is it abnormal to NOT visualize or think about anything while masturbating? i struggle with this... and have struggled with this for years. i also struggle with developing those sorts of feelings for people- i cant get a crush on anyone. i think they are connected.. maybe im going through some sort of long term phase? maybe im a victim of a mental or physical disorder? im 18, and have had the above problems for maybe 3 and a half years. are the above issues EVEN issues? should i shrug them off and continue my life this way, or should i try to seek help?

May not be the norm, but I don't see it as a problem. You are young, you may change in the future. I wouldn't be concerned with not having a "crush" on anyone, nor having to visualize. It does makes sense that they are connected, as they both seem to result in solitary pleasure; however, that does not mean it's a serious problem. As long as you are not hurting yourself, or anyone else I would shrug them off. And continue on in your life as you say. If you get to a point where this situation is all you think about, and if it starts to affect your everyday life; meaning that you can't lead a normal life and function in the world with others then I then you do need to seek help.

In the meantime, relax. Enjoy life.

You're perfectly normal. This is just one of the many experiences people have in this situation. (I didn't put the "M" word in, in case I got deleted!) You don't need to struggle with this. Stop thinking that you have a mental disorder or you'll stress yourself into one! You're only 18. Things will change if you are kinder to yourself and stop worrying. Eventually you'll meet someone you feel these feelings for.
If you don't change in 3 yearsor so, that will be the time to start seeking a counsellors help. I'm sorry that you've put yourself through so much worry for the last 3 1/2 years. Relax, it's OK.

If you asked the same question (or similar) more than 1 time, the second and all future questions on the same topic get removed.

It is better to seek help. You just can't shrug off those kind of feelings, if you don't get help, it will always stay on you.

Its like a feeling of disconnection? It must be normal because i've gone through it, still do sometimes. were just weirdos who don't know what we want. It'll be ok. :)
