I'm attending a few outside events soon and I have a problem with maintaining my body heat. I've tried wearing 2 pairs of gloves, wool socks, heat packs... but nothing seems to keep me warm when I'm out in this cold weather for extended periods of time... does anyone have any suggestions? Preferences on clothing/shoe brands or heat making/insulation tips are all extremely welcome.

You seem to be doing good on the layers thing but most heat is lost through the head, keep the head warm and covered if you get too hot open your chest a bit don't change your hatdress or whatever is on your head. Move around a bit don't sit in the same position for more than a few minutes if you want more help or are sitting on a cold surface put a blanket folded several times down first sometimes one underneath can be as good as many on top.

Wear a hat it helps keep heat inside your body!!Drink something hot and wear an extra pair of socks don't forget warm gloves...If all that doesn't work, go sit in the car,and turn on the heat!!!

Well, if your core (chest, stomach) is cold, your extremities will start to chill as the body starts to try to keep your core warm
Wear a lot of clothes on your core
It's best if you also wear an electric warming vest
If you do, you might not even have to wear gloves

You need one pair of feet with toes facing up and apart. The other pair have the toes facing down and close together between the pair that have the toes facing up and after a few minutes you shouldn't feel the cold.
