I keep seeing posts from white people who deny jesus was black by saying he was Jewish. That says nothing since judaism is a religion not a race. But isn't it possible (dare I say obvious) that the jews referred to in the bible were black? and what about these jews? (see link)

for the record, Egypt (though built by Africans) had been invaded by Asians. The people enslaved in the bible were the Africans.

actually he was Hebrew which many including Jews refer to as Jew(though it may not be technically correct), and it is a race (if I recall the bible mentions he was of the tribe of Benjamin and a descendant of king David). He was also Jewish (the religion). And they are olive complected, though they may have been darker in the past (do to their dispersion in Europe prior to WW2), most likely their complication was similar to that of many other ethnic groups from the middle east. As for being black, maybe a few as tribes from northern Africa did rule Egypt from time to time and would have been present during the enslavement in Egypt.
As for the web site, it is generally believed that moses married an Ethiopian women before he returned to Egypt however he was of the tribe of Levi and may or may not have been part of jesus's linage. On the other hand the Jews had been well settled into their geographical region of the middle east by the time he was born and would have been surrounded by olive complected tribes.

I think your timeline is a little confused, Yes the Nubians built the pyramids that however doesn’t make them Jewish. the pyramids (old kingdom 5th to 6th dynasty) would have been built well before the Hebrew enslavement (end of middle kingdom early new kingdom) and exodus (new kingdom 19th dynasty (none of which is really documented in Egyptian history which is strange as it has the longest written history of any nation; outside of the hysokos taking control of the Nile delta which according to the bible was given to the family of josphef). and I don’t recall a single asiatic group conquering Egypt, mostly tribes from what is current day Iraq, Iran and Syria (persians, arabs and turks from turkey) and later by greeks and romans.

I think the idea of the hebrews building of the pyramids is more of charleton heston's ten commandments fame than from any real history or biblical writings

Without having to look at a web site, I can read the Holy Bible and tell you that the lineage of Yeshua bar-Yosef was Hebrew, and he was a descendent of King David of Bethlehem, on both sides of his family. King David's ancestors came from Iraq...that is where the city of Ur was...as well as the Tower of Babel. The evolutionists will tell you that the black Africans were actually a group that came later than the caucazoid from which Indians, Arabs, and the ancient Hebrews, Israelites, or ancient Jews came from. If you go back to Abraham, you will see that he was not of the children of Ham, who were those who inhabited Canaan land, Egypt, and other parts of Africa. However, there was a whole bunch of intermixing. In fact you may read a part which talked about Miriam having issues because (one of) Moses' wife was African. God loves everyone...he made everyone. Why do people make such a big deal out of the amount of pigment in the skin? OH...one more thing, the mother of Ishmael was Egyptian. The Egyptians were not rejected because of the coloring of thier skin, but because of their religion and belief system...the majority thought it best to serve statues and dead kings, instead of the Living God. Christianity and Judaism were in Africa long before Islamic beliefs were even developed. If you read your Bible you may find an interesting story about an Ethiopian studying about God, and he took that faith back to Africa where it flourished. There clearly was a difference in skin pigmentation between Ethiopians, and the Children of Israel.

Yes, Jesus was Jewish. His preachings were about coming back to God and maintaining Jewish tradition. It was his follwers, after his death, that created a new religion based around Jesus's death. This is now known as Christianity. As for his race, Jesus was born in Nazareth, so it is assumed he is of Middle Easter Descent. However, it is very possible, if not likely, that the skin of Middle Eastern people was a lot darker, since we are talking about 2000 years ago. So, how dark he was is really not an aswerable question.

No, humanity in general because the meaning is lost by 'laying blame' on a particular race or sect. Besides... if it was "just the Jews" who killed Jesus, wouldn't it stand to reason that Jesus would then be the savior for "Jews only"?? Last time I checked, Jews don't believe that.

He was a Jew but he wasn't black. He was Middle Eastern.
But either way, it doesn't matter. What should matter is that the character Jesus preached love and respect, which nobody seems to follow - not even devote Christians.

*Additional -
Yes, I did read what was on the site posted, and I have read other literature concerning Beta-Israel, however in the Bible it is written that Jesus was born in Bethleham, which is a city South of Jerusalem in modern day West Bank. Therefore, Jesus was Middle Eastern. Nice try though.

If you will notice what people from that area of the world look like you will get an idea about what he looked like, I personally don't care one way or the other what a person looks like, I bought a home right in the middle of a bunch of fine black folks, didn't think twice about buying that home, could have bought a home In a number a white neighborhoods but i wanted the home, why in the world would I care if he was black brown or white or red, or yellow.OK lets say he is black !!OK. that's fine!! your right !! GREAT!!!. its spiritual realizations and being close to the Spirit of God and asking of the spirit and listening to the spirits guidance within me, and trying to do Gods will, THAT is whats important to me as a Christian. Peace.

Yes Jesus was a Jew, he was NOT a Christian Believe it or not, He was born a Jew and died a Jew by the hands of the Jews. But more importantly is: Would Jesus really "Care" if he was black or white or purple with hot pink polka dots and yellow stripes. Jesus taught that you should love everyone equally and to even bring up such a question goes against his teachings and principles and shows how much of a Hypocrit and Blasphemist you are

Jew is a corruption of Judah, one of the tribes of Israel, which was Jacobs name after God renamed him. Jew originally meant "of the tribe of Judah," which Jesus was definitely of the tribe of Judah, being descended from David. Both Mary and Jesus' stepfather Joseph were of the tribe of Judah. No, Jesus was not a Levite, (of the tribe of Levi), as some have stated.
When Israel separated into the two tribe southern kingdom centered in Jerusalem and the northern ten tribe kingdom in Samaria, Judah was the representative of true worship and the rule of Israel as was predicted in Genesis, that the commanders staff would not depart from Judah until he to whom the rule belongs (Jesus) arrives. Judah later became the representative of all the tribes of Israel, and was changed to "Jew," meaning all of Israel.
As for the race thing, there is only one race, actually, called human. Much corruption of words makes the word race even mean nationality. But the human race comes in many colors. Of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, Ham was the dark skinned one, the father of Cush, but Shem was the ancestor of Abraham, and thus of Jacob (Israel)
What does it matter what color anyone was or is? Is it not how you act and believe that is important?

Jewish is a race and a nationality. Original Jews were neither black nor white. They looked more like Bedouins. Darkish skin, black hair, brown eyes, and etc...
