Don't beat yourself up over something that obviously is not real. Love yourself for who and what you are. That's all that counts.

tu_confused189,
I would hope you'd have more faith in GOD than in humanities interpretations.
You really think humanity has understood GOD well enough over 2000+ years ago - that what was written then blindly applies in today's communities?
Jesus gave humanity 2 commandments to follow; because Jesus KNEW us - and you really see humanity living as Jesus wants us.
GOD LOVES YOU - VERY MUCH.
Be accepting of this, and in who you are.
TRUST THAT GOD KNOWS YOU. Better than you know yourself.
Wanting humanity to accept you - is not going to happen. You will always have humanity saying: your too tall or short/wrong hair color/accent wrong/etc. GOD does not care for externals only HOW you live.
BE TRUE TO YOURSELF.
I'm sure there are plenty of people that know every letter and why this word was chosen instead of that one in the bible, when forming the translations, and edits so you'll get a biblical answer. It just won't mean anything in how GOD cares about you.
Have a peaceful 2007, sorry I don't care about sexual orientation of people - just not really important, be the best you - you can be at all times and you'll be fine.

I would strongly recommend you listen to a few audio files listed on http://www.olivetreeviews.org/radio/mp3/ and search their radio archives for "stephen bennett" ***be sure to check mark 'search description'**** and you'll find a homosexual who was brought out of the lifestyle and he'll give you more than enough information that you're looking for. His personal website can be found at sbministries. Keep in mind that many people living nowadays will be all too eager to tell you only what you want to hear, and not the hard truth we sometimes so desparately seek. The people who love you the most will tell you the most truth, whether it feels good to you or not. We may not always understand things at first, but in the end everything will one day make sense, as the secrets of men will all one day be brought to light... God bless you sister and you'll be in my prayers
I would recommend this website [olivetreeviews] for anyone looking for answers to their questions about Christianity (with the Bible first and foremost). They will also help you keep up to date on the trends happening in our world today as we are being bombarded on every side with deception in these days that we live in.

Yes God didn't choose you to be like that nor did he make you like that. It is always convenient to blame your affliction on God. If anyone chose you to be like that it is you. Not that it is a bad thing. Though Christians might tell you that it is and they will defiantly tell you that you are an Abomination. I will tell you that God does not love you. Not because you are a bad person but because God himself is a figment of imagination and an Abomination himself. Use a little logic and reason. Think about it and stop thinking you are going to loose your little piece of la la land of eternity. That fantasy Boogie man Satan isn't going to jump out and bite you in the butt. Forget all that religious nonsense start living and enjoy your life. You of course will ignore my good advise go with one of these Christians who advise you to leave it in their phony Gods hands and be miserable all your life. Well I gave it a try. BB Boop Oop A Doop

The reason your bisexual is not because God made you this way or that way. I wonder this question many times. Why does God make hemaphodites or conjoint twins. The reason for this we dont really know. Diversity in nature for both good and bad traits exists in part due to the fall of man in the garden of eden by Adam and Eve. This corrupted the whole world.
Let me be brief with you, the only way to go to heaven is to ask Jesus Christ to be the Lord (Master) of your life and ask for forgivness for your sins. This ensures you a place in heaven. Does this mean we have a licence to sin? NO! This basically means even thought we are sinners and sin every day all we have to do is Believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for your sins on the cross of calvary. THROUGH HIS BLOOD YOU ARE SAVED! WHAT GOOD NEWS!
Now back to your question does God loves you? If you accept Christ Jesus as the Lord of your life, you become a child of God, and no matter what sins you do he will still love you and welcome you to heaven. He doesn't hate you, otherwise he would never send his Son to die for you on the cross of Calvary!
Everyone has weakness ask God to give you the grace to resist your temptation to have premarital sex or sex outside of marriage but rather wait to have sex with a man who you love. I know it will not be easy, but it says those that love God obey his commandments. I hope this answered your question. NO MATTER WHAT GOD LOVES YOU AND IF YOU ACCEPT HIM AS LORD OF YOUR LIFE YOU BECOME HIS CHILD. NO MATTER WHAT!!!
you can email me at cpoppa112@yahoo.com if you want me to pray for you or answer any of your questions or just need a friend :D
P.S: I recently thought i was going to hell for smoking which too is a sin, but then i asked my pastor and he told me WE ARE SAVED BY THE GRACE OF GOD AND NOT WORKS that is why GOD DIED ON THE CROSS FOR YOU AND ME WE BOTH ARE SINNER.....The only way to heaven is to believe JESUS IS GOD!!!

The truth is being a Christian you should now that Satan is the biggest tempter of all. Satan comes to kill, steal and destroy. God did not make you that way. We were naturally born into sin because one man chose to disobay God. Satan is putting those thoughts into your mind. Do not let Satan have controll of your life, or he will get your soul too. Yes it is an abomination to God. You will not enter Heaven if you continue in your sins. Jesus said not everyone who calls me Lord will enter the kingdom of Heaven but those who do the will of my Father who is in Heaven. We all struggle with some king of sin. Me it is swearing and my temper which I am trying to get under control. I cannot do it myself, God is the only one that can help me. So yes to answer you question yes it is a sin.Let Jesus be your strength as you cannot battle it by yourself. If you do not trust Jesus to help you then you might go through it yourself. Remember resist the devil and he will flee from you. Satan wants you to sin so you can end up in the lake of fire one day with him. Do not give in to Satan, losing your soul is not worth it, trust me.

Bible's trash hon. You will have to research everything and find your own pieces of inspirational tools that will help you learn that you are already OK just the way you are. Here's some stuff that will see the biblical junk differently! ...
GAYS AND SCRIPTURE
FROM DIGNITYUSA.ORG
What was the point of the Bible texts if not to condemn homosexuality?
It is not easy to summarize briefly the body of research on homosexuality in the Bible. But these are the interpretations that some scholars are proposing:
•The story of Sodom in Genesis 19 is about offense against the sacred duty of hospitality. That is how Ezekiel 16:48-49 and Wisdom 9:13-14 interpret this text. The attempted male rape only heightens the atrocity of this offense.
•Leviticus 18:22 does forbid male-male sex as an "abomination." But the word simply means an impurity or a religious taboo — like eating pork. As in the case of Catholics who used to be forbidden under pain of mortal sin to eat meat on Friday, the offense was not in the act itself but in the betrayal of one's religion. The ancient Jews were to avoid practices common among the unclean Gentiles.
•Romans 1:27 mentions men having relations with men. But the terms used to describe them are "dishonorable" and "shameless." These refer deliberately to social disapproval, not to ethical condemnation. Moreover, according to Paul's usage, different from the prevalent Stoic philosophy of the day, para physin ("unnatural") would best be translated "atypical" or "beyond the ordinary." So it bears no reference to natural law. And it can imply no ethical condemnation because in Romans 11:24 God is said to act para physin. Paul sees gay sex as an impurity (see Rm. 1:24), just like uncircumcision or eating forbidden foods. He mentions it to make the main point of his letter, that purity requirements of the Jewish Law are not relevant in Christ Jesus. See L. William Countryman, Dirt, Greed, and Sex.
•1 Corinthians 6:9-10 and 1 Timothy 1:8-10 list arsenokoitai among those who will be excluded from the Reign of God. This obscure term has been translated "homosexuals" but its exact meaning is debated. It certainly does not include women but only some kind of male sexual offenders. If it does refer to men having sex with men — which is dubious — it must be interpreted in light of the abuse and licentiousness commonly associated with male-male sex in the Roman Empire. See Robin Scroggs, The New Testament and Homosexuality.
•Finally, Genesis 1-3 shows Adam and Eve created for mutual companionship and procreation. These accounts use the most standard of human relationships to teach a religious lesson. The point is the love and wisdom of God, who made all things good and wills us no evil. Nothing suggests the biblical authors intended a lesson on sexual orientation.
Love,
Gregory
PS. God loves you! It's dogmatic religion that is screwing with you... cheer up, you'll figure this stuf out! Hang in there.

Your first mistake is in taking the bible as the literal word of God.
When it was written by monks who took it from oral tradition.
And yes I know it is blasphemy to say this but I am a proud cafeteria catholic and I don't care.
God does not hate you he created you; Something bigots can not grasp. Everyone is tested by something your thing is to figure out how to remain sane and not turn bitter. Anyone who disrespects you for being Bi is ignorant. Gods plan for you is the same as everyone elses; to develop your gifts, to respect others even when they behave ignorantly and to leave a positive legacy for those around you. oh and we are all sinners.

My friend, God called homosexuality an abomination...not homosexual. There is a difference.
We are all sinners and as such, we try to control our sin nature but it is our very nature to sin. Some have problems with stealing. Others with heterosexual promiscuity which is still sin. Each of us has a sin which we have a problem with.
The good news as that when Paul talked about some of these sins in 1 Corinthians 6:
10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
Notices the "such WERE some of you." It is past tense. They were made new the moment they trusted Jesus for salvation.
Even as a Christian, we will still have problems with certain sins to help us to keep trusting God to help us:
1 Corinthians 10:13
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it
One last thing....God does love each of us so much. HE said that while we were yet sinners and enemies to God, Jesus died for us. One problem is that many think they are Christians because they know a man named Jesus died for them. This does not make them a Christian as much as it makes them well informed. To be a Christian means to have a personal relationship with GOD as shown in the link below.
