No! it is designed not to, they have hidden sugars and fats... it would be better to just eat fruit and vegetables, walk thirty minutes a day and lose weight fast, cut out all fast food, pop and fried foods and you will feel so much better, and the weight will fall off.

I have yet to see anyone go on a Slimfast diet and lose weight and keep it off. Fad diets just don't work. If you want to lose about 3 or 5 pounds it might work, but if you really have weight to lose, this is not the way to go. Try something like Weight Watchers or South Beach. Ok, they take a little longer, but the weight stays off. If you do Slim Fast, which is really only supposed to be a week, it seems that everyone gets so hungry after the week that they eat more than they should and put back the weight plus more. I've seen it with too many people. Do it the right way and when you get to your goal you don't have to worry every minute am I screwing up. Dieting shouldn't be a short fix, it should be a fix in the way you eat, so you don't have this happen again and again.
This from a constant dieter and anorexic, up until I learned my lesson.

not at decreasing body fat. sugar is the second ingredient on the label, it is not a healthy solution for fat loss.
if the meal normally consumed is higher than the Slim Fast product there "may" be a reduction in weight. if you notice notice all of the advertised claims refer to losing weight not reducing body fat.
which means if you do lose weight on a Slim Fast based diet the majority of weight lost will mostly be water and lean body mass.

Nope. It tastes too good to just drink one shake per meal. You'll end up drinking more than you should and you will be taking in even more calories that you should or were before Slimfast.
Stick with an exercise program and healthier eating habits.
Don't substitute calories for other calories...eat what you want in smaller portions.

Only for a while. You lose more water than anything else. It can give you a stomach ache, and long term effects are not good. Try it to jump start a diet only, but it is not a long term solution.
