I do agree on certain points that you've made here
I think that the media ought to give a whole lot more attention
to these schools and hospitals and housing and business buildings and all that are being built by the hundreds there WITH U.S. Taxpayers' money by the very company that has a CEO position on hold for a lame duck vice president !!! The SAME exact company that has somehow LOST between six and eight BILLION DOLLARS of that money in the last three years --- doesn't know where it could have POSSIBLY gotten to AND are not being made by ANYONE to answer for it !!!!!
AND maybe some stories on the hundreds of middle class homes that the American taxpayers have paid for over there THAT when the people were moved in--- they threw a ring-tailed FIT that they weren't BETTER !!!
How about some more stories on the FACT that these people LOVE us so much that the families there have given strict warnings to any of the females that are found even TALKING to an American soldier will be beaten half to death by her family !!!!
Oh, there's a lot of news that isn't getting reported
But, these news programs are only SO long
And, you see, there are a several thousands of American families that have their sons and daughters in this meat grinder --- and they kinda like the idea of knowing just how many body bags they can expect coming out of there on a given day--- and in hopes that they can find SOME hope that one of those won't be coming home to THEM !!!!!

You have to accept what the media is reporting. They are reporting bad stuff because the war is going bad. Would you think that they will report the bad stuff if the war is going well?. If ten U.S. soldiers get killed, would you rather hear the media saying that nobody was killed?. If you disagree with the reports, you are free to check all other news agencies. From there, you can decide which report is true or not.

Everyone knows that the media is completely biased, yet they still believe what they see. A major issue i have with them is when a reporter, a civilian or one of the humanitarian workers gets killed, we hear their whole life story for a week. Its sad that they were killed, but when a soldier/airmen/sailor or marine is killed, all we hear is a number, not their plans to wed, like the woman who was killed in an ambush the other day. Maybe if you hear details about the military personels life, you wouldnt use us as a political tool, and you would realize that we are people proud of our country and trying to do good things.

Media about Iraq is over rated. I refuse to listen to it. It's bad over there but not in the way media reports it. You can't believe 89% of it.

Media is doing a outstanding job of not showing what is really happening in iraq. They only care if someone gets killed, or blows them selves up. Building schools and hospitals is to boring for the american media. They might as well join Al Jazerra in reporting on Iraq/Afganistan news

20 of our troops were killed today. That's the third highest daily total since the war began. Should they not report that?
Americans want to know one thing when it comes to Iraq namely when can the troops come home. The opening of a new school won't determine that. It's the security of the country and the level of insurgent activity that will be the deciding factor.

Here's something CNN doesn't seem to realize.
Insurgents watch it too.
So everytime the media badmouths Bush, the war, etc. it adds fuel to their ever-growing propaganda fire.
Embedded media was the worst idea anyone's had in awhile. Next to being a Democrat.
