One without knowing you better, even a therapist could not diagnose you.
I've had lots of mental problems caused by abuse. I can tell you some of the things you are talking about sound like the following problems. But first, STOP MESSING WITH PRESCRIPTION AND OVER THE COUNTER DRUGS, INCLUDING CAFFIENE. Did you know that taking Ambien when not needed and then using caffiene to get you up can cause real serious chemical issues in the brain and can be at least part of why you are having the problems you are having. So you need to be drug free for a week or more before you can even be properly evaluated by a therapist. Thath's where you need to start. Then you absolutely with what you are describing need a therapist. Please see a Psychologist, not a Psychiatrist to be evaluated, they do best when it comes to evaluations and work ups. Psychiatrist just start diagnosing, most of them, drug you and never really sort out what problems are physical, what problems are caused by eating, pills etc. So please, make an appointment first things Monday morning with a Psychologist if you have insurance. If you don't have insurance, you'll have to go to a county mental health center, watch out, they tend to drug everyone, make sure you get a thorough evaluation, physical first, before you agree to using any medication and demand you don't just get drugs, but therapy.
If you are a teen, make an appointment with one who does Child Psychology as there are big differences in how disorders/illness show up in teens, compared to adults and you need someone who has the experience of daily working with teens, not adults.
You say, I wish to inflict harm on others at time. This is a very serious statment. If you are serious you may be having psychotic episodes, you need to be honest about this when you see the psychologist, don't lie and don't exaggerate, be specific about what type of harm, how often you think this, etc.
Being afraid to show any emotion can be part of many disorders, Psychotic disorders, depression, anxiety disorders and more.
Self Medicating to hurry up and go to sleep is very dangerous, even more so if you do have a mental disorders or illness as it can make your disorder worse, especially if you are having anxiety problems or psychotic episodes.
Being sarcastic and a smart mouth, can be part of Bi-polar disorder when you are on the high side, manic. But in and of itself it's not a symptom.
Being Anxious when others are around, being scared to leave your room is a serious issue, it can definately be part of all types of anxiety disorders, which can be helped; many people with clinical depression also have this as an issue. People with paranoid disorders may also feel as you say, about being arid to leave your room.
If the giddy/goofy feeling only comes on when you drink lots of caffeine, then it's probably, I say probably, not a problem. But if you have times when you feel this way, are super active, can't slow down, that can be a sign of Bi-polar disorder. Make sure to tell this to a therapist.
Hidding in your closet to avoid people can be both a sign you are suffering from severe anxiety or it can be a sign you are experiencing paranoia.
Either way, you are right, you have a serious emotional problem that isn't going to magically improve. You need to get into a psychologist and be evaluated. Make sure you write down all your symptoms, how often they are occuring. If you know things that trigger them to happen. Do you go from extreme high's when you feel you can do anything, to extreme lows, make sure you tell them that.
Please trust me, stop all drugs that are not prescibed for you right NOW, then make an appointment monday to see and be evaluated by a Psychologist. Getting help is nothing to be ashamed of, but waiting until you do harm to someone else is very shameful.
I'll be praying for you.
GOOD LUCK and do seek help right away!

Ambien can make you a mental case & so can caffeine. Stop the caffeine intake completely & I guarantee that you won't need the Ambien & your entire self will transform into a more mellow & balanced person. It's gonna take about 30 days to feel better & the first 10 are gonna be the worst. You'll still have that smart mouth & you'll be able to turn your dislike of people into murder mysteries. You have a future if you get yourself in the creative writing classes & drama will be a good outlet for you to get away with your nastiness in an acceptable manner with people who are used to it! Work with what you have & you'll learn how to enjoy being you...smart mouth & all! NOTHING IS WRONG WITH YOU. You just sound like you need a creative outlet & a challange for your brain. Screw the people in the other room...you don't like them anyway! Next time, just leave the phone off the hook & don't answer the door! You don't owe anybody anything until you are ready to share it. You MAY have an imbalance of blood sugar levels, but cutting out the coffee & sodas will stop some of it. Stopping the Ambien will clear up the rest of your "goofiness".

It might not be bi-polar; you your self said the manic phases (hyper) are usually caffeine induced. You may have a condition called general anxiety disorder (GAD), mixed with some depression. I am going to suggest a web site for you to check out, and then I think you should get to a professional so that your quality of life is put back to where you want it to be. No one should have to live like that. You should be enjoying everything around you, not fearing them, not so anxious. Check this site out! www.lexapro.com Take care and get help, life is suppose to be fun, live it that way!

Sounds like you are bipolar. Your mood goes from one extreme to the other. You definetly need to see a counselor, go to your regular doctor and request to see a therapist. You probably have a chemical imbalance and the doc can prescribe you a medication that will balance you out instead of mask your problem. Meanwhile stay away from caffeine and maybe go for a daily walk.

It sounds as though you have an anxiety disorder and that is causing mood swings. Seeking answers here is a waste of time. You must go see a doctor! These kind of things can be easily treated. You must see a doctor! Don't rely on the worthless opinions of a buch of strangers online. See a doctor!!

When your family talks to you in a casual way it will help you think about things in your head. Write them in a journal or talk it over with someone.
