I agree with NO MEDS until you see a doctor. If vomiting was just once it might be due to gastritis. Very good advice the one for stopping drinking alcohol and stop smoking, it will help also y for don't drink coffee, stop aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, etc. Blood vomiting is serious, be sure you're having good eating/drinking and resting habits.

Could be a couple of things-bleeding ulcer, ruptured vessels in the esophagus (esophageal varices). Always serious. Go to the ER.

This may mean you have a stomach ulcer which can be caused by too many anti inflamitaries, or too much acidic food such a tomatoes, oranges, etc. It must be seen by doctor.
