There's this guy I really like, and I mean REALLY like. We're just friends at the moment, but we talk, flirt, and laugh constantly and I think there could be something more there. My instincts definitely tell me this. We often lock eyes with each other for up to 5 seconds, and he's told me that he thinks I'm good looking. There's never a dull moment in our conversations. He often comes over to sit by me in class, and I catch him staring at me sometimes. The problem is, I'm way to shy to make a move---well, I have too much pride. How do I get him to admit his feelings for me or take things to the next level?

Do an old fashioned thing...write a note and hand it to him..ask him if he would like to do something..go get something to eat....movie? etc. Good luck

If he has said he thinks your attractive, locks eyes with you, etc, then he likes you. No doubt about that.

Guys LOVE hearing girls are interested in them, so if you like him... I think your best bet would be to (when you're alone with him) tell him that you think things should progress past friendship and ask him if he feels the same? If he's a good guy he will take that well and most likely agree.

Probably the most important thing to do would to be sure that he knows how you feel. Have the courage to ask him out. And if at the moment that is out of question, try to spend more time together and give him hints, so he might be tempted to make the first move.

You have to learn to take some risks. There could be great benefits to you if you are willing to put yourself out there and see how he feels. He has already told you that he thinks you are good looking, and the two of you get along great. Maybe you could simply ask him to meet you for coffee or something to get the ball rolling. He may be just as afraid of the rejection as you are.

Call me crazy, but I think this would work...

"Are you going to keep sitting their staring at me, or are you going to shut your eyes and kiss me already???"

That way you can keep your pride (you showed him!) and if there's nothing, he can just say "the first one".

Please, for the love of all that is good, do NOT play games, like talking about other guys to make him jealous and finally make a move...that's just screwed up.
