Because they're nosy, insensitive, rude buggers who have nothing better to do than invade other peoples' privacy...

Some people do this. I don't. I'm not curious in that way. But, my best friend does and people say we're a lot alike. She says - she just likes "to see." The medicine cabinet thing is featured in one of Chuck Poloniak's books. In his book people go to real estate open houses and steal uppers and downers from the cabinets. Surely, I don't keep anything of importance in our cabinet. It's more like a kitchen junk drawer and for this vey reason. The good stuff is elsewhere. I guess people do it out of curiosity and to steal the "good stuff" if any is there.
PS I would love to put a fake camera with a fake "click!" in the cabinet if I was having a party. Just to freak them out if they did look.

People peek in medicine cabinets out of simple curiosity (although I've never done so). It wouldn't bother me if someone looked in my medicine cabinet because I don't actually keep medicine in there, LOL! The only things in there are various personal care items and I don't think anyone would find Dove deodorant and Johnson & Johnson body powder interesting. :)

if you're a doctor, your friends might wants to steal the medicine prescription that you're using so they can analyse it at home and if you're just a normal person who working as a normal worker, they probably thinks you're taking some diet pills or youth pills to stay young and beautiful. Yes that is really none of their business if they did a check on your medicine cabinet, thats considered rude too so if you ever see your friends spying into your cabinet you should ask them "how can i Help you?"

Well, we keep ours in the kitchen cabinets, not the bathrooms. If they go into the bathroom cabinets they will find mundane items like some lipstick or lip balm, dental floss and junk. I have no idea why people find that so fascinating. It's odd. Hang a note in there that says "What are you looking in here for?"

It's natural instinct to be a "nosy parker". Actually, I wouldn't mind if anyone went into my medicine cabinet, as I have nothing to hide. If I had something to hide, I wouldn't leave it in the cabinet for all to see!

A good way to fix people from snooping through your medicine cabinet is before you have a party, load up your medicine cab. with a bunch of marbles. Then when someone wants to snoop, they all fall out at once letting you know who it is.

Because our society is a voyeuristic one. We think we have the right to know everything about everyone. Especially celebrities. and it gets worse and worse. People are nosy, and it is the current thing to get the scoop on someone, and be the first to broadcast it to everyone you know. Put your meds in a safe place, if you do not want people to know, or it will be all over that you are on Prozac, or heart meds, or whatever.

Curiosity, there might be something interesting in there. No, I wouldn't be offended if people peeked into mine. (So long as they didn't steal anything) People are endlessly curious about each other, naturally, but we are all made to feel awkward about it. I think if we could all be more relaxed and stop looking for something to criticise each other for, our lives would be easier.

I've heard people do this, but I haven't done it myself. I can't think of anything in there that would be interesting to me.
