Hair usually grows about 1/2 an inch to an inch a month.
Your hair will probably be the same as it was before you shave it. Chemo patients that lose their hair usually have different hair than what they had before. But that should be a result of the chemo.
Good luck.

Dandruff means that your scalp is dry. Try changing to a moisturizing shampoo.
Also try a moisturizing hair mask that you can apply weekly.
Don't shave all of your hair. Just trim your hair & your new hair will hopefully be better if you take better care of your hair.
Another option is try a serum for split ends.
Your best bet is not to dye your hair, try to avoid using a hairdryer so often, & trim off your split ends.

dont shave it completly, cut it short. most of the time the damage on your hair is at the ends. after you cut it you will notice the dandruff problem going away because when it shorter it wont dry out as bad.

i dont like girls with shaved heads. but if you really want to do that, i guess you would get different hair. after i got a big hair cut, my hair was never the same.

ok, instead of shaving your hair and looking like a complete fool, go to the store, find a bottle of shampoo and conditioner, and buy it. that should solve your messy, split ends problem. if you have no desire to do that what-so-ever, take a HAIR TIE/SCRUNCHY/RUBBERBAND, and tie your hair up or ask someone to do it for you.
