Firstly I am a Hindu.I truly Love my cousin. Its no infatuation, but TRUE Love. She also Loves me a lot.My father is no more in this world, but my mother is open about my decision. My cousin's father(not her mother)is also open to it.But we both live in a joint family(with many members),who I know will not agree to it.They could also turn to violence to nail their view.I know our religion does not allow for such marriages, but I Love her even more than I Love my own life.I cannot see a future without her.I haven't informed of this intention to any of my other uncle's.I'm studying now & wish to marry her after getting a job.But due to some reason,I don't know what(she won't tell me),she is shying from this relationship. But I cannot live without her.I also cry at night(boy's also have hearts that bleed when pierced). She won't talk to me anymore.I REALLY miss her.Plz,tell me how to get her back...Plz,Plz.........

Your mother's younger sister's daughter is your cousin. In the U.S. having a sexual relationship with her would be considered incense. I'm not about to scream and yell at you - but would strongly advise you to be very careful.

Anir,

What you may be going through is infatuation or perhaps unrequitted love - because of the close physical association, such feelings are natural and bound to happen - even if there is no real bonding. I sense that you are very young - there is a big world to be explored out there, perhaps you have not dated often enough...anyways, keeping in mind that there is no encouragement from your cousin, it may be better to move on and look for your soul mate elsewhere - one day, you will laugh about this time...trust me.

You are really young fellow miscalculating infatuation towards your cousin as love. It very common in youngsters to have such a feeling which change with the time & maturity. Best is that you concentrate on your studies now & try to forget her. Once you grow much old & get matured with age you will understand that this was not real love but only your infatuation towards her.

Get straight away to your mom. ask her to speak with her brother. He will accept and let your mom and uncle decide without including any other relatives. Any third party involvement will make matters harder.

Also do some mental and physical exercises. This will keep you distracted a little. Indians are famous for yoga. Try it out.

Good luck

As per the law, this marriage is permissible. It does not come within the meaning of consanguinity because the parent is your mother's brother. If it were your father's brother, yes then this marriage is not possible. In this case you are free to marry this girl as per law.

well, it seems like you really love her, and you know what, of course guys have feelings, everyone does, but a way to talk to her is to do something romantic for her. women really appreciate that. no offense, but, maybe she understands the fact that you people are related, and cant marry like that. maybe if you weren't blood related, it would be okay, but, maybe she has moved on. talk to her, tell her your true feelings, ask her whats been going on lately, and remember, don't do anything stupid, like start to kiss her or something, maybe she's isn't ready for it, if she goes for it, then you go right on back.
