No, not really. There are many products out there that claim to promote faster hair growth that many people truly want to believe work, but they're just scams. There are also numerous things people do to their hair that they claim makes it grow faster (I've heard everything from soaking hair in milk to conditioning the heck out of it) which, while they may make the hair healthier, don't actually cause it to grow any faster. How fast a person's hair will grow is pretty much genetically predetermined. Eating a healthy diet and getting all of the necessary vitamins and nutrients will probably make the hair grow a little faster, but not drastically or even very noticeably so. Prenatal vitamins however have been shown to promote faster hair growth in some women that take them, but who wants to take a prenatal vitamin when they're not pregnant just for hair growth? (especially considering the other possible side effects, upset stomach and actually hair loss in some women being among them.) Hope that helps!

You know what? I've actually heard that hair grows faster in the summertime, or in warm, sunny places. Why? I'm not exactly sure, but it's more hearsay than anything. Massaging the scalp can stimulate and all, but I'm not sure if that's proven to make your hair grow faster. My suggestion would be to take vitamins every day, eat well (as hair growth and overall health can be affected by what you eat - don't make junk food your staple!), and use a good shampoo and a deep conditioner to maintain healthy hair.

My hair is very long (almost to my butt) and I've always had it long. It takes a long time to grow it out but you have to take care of it so it will be healthy because you won't be able to trim it as much as short hair. My mother swears by taking a warm bath and massaging your head under the water. I believe hair is sensitive to your mood. If you are in a calm state of mind hair is less likely to tangle and break at the ends while you are brushing. When you are uptight or stressed hair tends to tangle and break off. Brush gently, trim every 3 or 4 months, and I like to keep the ends of my hair pulled up and out of the way because chairs, elevators, escalators, buttons and zippers can tear hair that is dangling. Good Luck!

Drink a tonic of apple cider vinegar in water. Makes hair and nails grow. Look up on the website. Makes my hair grow very fast. Nails are growing long too. Better than any hair vitamins on the market. Just 2 tbs. in an 8 ounce glass of water. Makes you lose weight as well.

prenatal vitamins,i took them and my hair grew a ton faster, they are packed full of the vitamins need most, they make you more healthy, which makes your hair grow faster,i mean if your healthy wouldn't that make your cells duplicate more, and faster? i think so.
try it. but be persistent, don't take them every time you feel like it, take them once a day in the morning. and stick with it, it may take a month or so to see results.

good luck =]

if you colored your hair.. dont count on it growing any faster. take it from experience. naturally i'd usually have long hair. but once i had this impulse to cut it all of and dye it. 6 months later its only grown 2 inches. i suggest to cut off those split ends!! it helps to grow faster.

I would imagine the only way is good general health, with plenty of protein and vitamin E in your diet.
