so there's this guy whos in one of my classes that i like. he's not like a complete stranger im friends with his sister, his dad is a teacher of one of my classes and he does track and so do i. but i usually dont talk to him. occasinoally ill say hi or something like that. and i usually see him around school. and it seems like everytime i look at him he's already looking at me. so it seems like he stares at me alot. he's shy and so am i so its kinda hard for me to talk to him. so what do you think i should do? and do you think he likes me?

Yeah, he likes you. If he's making that much eye contact, then he likes you. We men are a simple breed, we look at what we like and don't look at what we don't. What it seems some women don't understand is that they are in complete control of relationships from beginning to end. If you're comfortable enough to approach him, ask him something stupid. Find him at track practice and ask him if he has any idea what's going on in the class that you have together. If he seems even slightly willing to help you, and says more than 5 or 6 words, then you've confirmed that he likes you. See if he wants to hang out and study some time, or hang out and not study some time. Be careful, as you're relationship with his sister will likely end because of your relationship with her brother. If you've just recently met her, be prepared for her to think that you were just using her to get close to her brother. You may even want to run your feelings past her first, as she may already know if her brother likes you. Just remember, you have all of the power!

I actually am in the same situation with a girl that i like. She is one of my friend's sister so i know her through him. Anyway... I am also shy and i basically just look at her from my locker as she walks by. I definitely wish she would talk to me! I have talked to her in the past but it is usually pretty uneventful small talk. But yeah, talk to him, see what happens. My guess is that he likes you but doesn't have the guts to act on this. So....

Fall over on the track when he's there. If that doesnt get his attention, go do homework with his sister and giggle real loud.

the only way to tell is to ask him to stop after track for a pop or something or find something you can do as friends and see if more develops.

Why not just talk to him? There is no harm in trying. Get to know him first and then maybe sparks will fly.
