Why do you talk to him? Apparently you aren't really out of your old relationship...you're still in it.

Why are you still flirting back and forth texting/talking to some asshole who dosn't want anything to do with his own son,i think maybe your insecure and secretly enjoy the fact that your new b/f is reacting to this and therefor showing you that he cares. That won't last long if it continues he will sooner or later realise he can/will find someone who is free of your baggage and do a runner.Oh and get the father of your child paying maintinance bet he won't be so quick to text you and offer you big **** then, he might even think twice about offering it up to any future women also, when hes paying for the result of it.

i am a separated dad. the only thing i will tell you, your ex should be communicating with you regard the welfare of the child anything else, politely tell him off. if he doesn't want to have anything to do his son then i suggest to you to get a sole custody, child support and a restraining order( change all your phone numbers and e-mail address.) if he wants to be a ********
since, your boyfriend knows your former relationship and i agreed with him for been mad but no reason should allows an argument last all night.

If he wants nothing to do with your son, why do you want to have anything to do with him? If he doesn't care about the human being he helped create, why would he care about one he didn't create (you). It sounds like you're just begging for trouble by still talking to a man who doesn't care about his child.
As for the new guy, I would recommend first off, acknowledging his suspiciousness. Something like "I can understand why you might think that...I probably would feel the same way if I were in your shoes. But no, we're not messing around."

if the daddy wants nothing to do with his son then u need to get him out of ur life. there is no reason for him to be around. focus on ur new relationship and cut ties with the other guy, unless he is going to start supporting his child.

If the guy doesn't want to have anything to do with the kid you have with him, then why are you talking to him at all? I think the new guy should dump you until you get your life in order.

you and this young man need to really talk about this, it only been
5 months so it still early. but let him know that this man is the
father of your child and he will be in your life for nothing else
but for his child . and if he has aproblem with that then he may
not be the one for you. it about trust, you have or you dont.
