OK REPHRASE THAT IM WORKING ON MY STOMACH- ok im doing 200 crunches every night will that make my stomach flatter?? ill squeeze in the cardio exersice later but im working on my stomach right now.. so is there any tips will 200 crunches help??

it really does
ive been working on that too,
try doing sit ups too
ive gotten up to 500 situps
do lots of crunches for ur upper abs
and then the "bicycle" crunches for upper and lower abs ((like left elbow to right knee, do with other side))
do some lower ab excercises too...idk if its just a girl thing, but ive notcied my upper abs are more defined than my lower...and it makes me so angry b/c no matter what i do..u kno
but i think its different for guys.

Allrighty, I answer this question a lot as a personal trainer.

Diet, Cardio and change your workout routine.

Don't aim for 6 pack. Aim for 8

You have 2 upper , 4 middle, 2 lower.

Guys have a harder time gaining definition in the lower ab region since they retain fats in this area.

To see the definition quicker and love the results, rock hard, wash yoour clothes on them cause there that darn good, you need to do the cardio.

1 hour of cardio a day if possible and you have to reach and maintain your target heart rate. for the 1st 15 minutes of this workout you will burn off carbs. Then for the next 45 minutes you will burn off fats. Guys will lose fat in the abs and lower back. Girls will lose fat in the thighs and lower back.

Abs.
Jacknife-straight leg sit up. Lay flat and bring legs and arms up straight and touch fingers to toe

crunch-bring your shoulder blades off the ground and hold for 2 seconds. return to rest

scissor kicks-feet 6 inches off the ground, straight legs, alternate raising and lowering your legs at the same time

Figure four-one knee bent and the other knee crossed over making a four with your legs. do crunches in this position

Alternating crunches- feet 3 inches off the ground, hands behind head, alternate bringing your knee to your elbow and twist yoru body to make them touch.

do these excersices in intervals. Sets of whatever you feel comfortable and above all else, if it hurts. STOP! There is a difference between a workout burn and pain.

Doing the workouts will burn lean muscle. Lean muslce will burn more fats. This will ultimately help you in your final goal.

I was told by a Powerhouse trainer that cardio is the key to defining problematic areas and thus reducing body fat. If you want to lose weight and improve your body, you will need to increase your calorie expenditure. Crunches alone will not get the job done.

If you want a tighter, flatter stomach you need to burn some fat. Running is a great thing. I run around 20 miles a week and my body fat percent is dropping fast. Eat lean, stay away from sugary foods, no sodas and limit your carbs at dinner.

It will if you change your diet. You HAVE TO change your diet also. If you notice every exercise machine for sale always guarantees success, but they ALL sneak in the words "with a healthy diet." Crunches will not eliminate the fat around your abs. They will only increase your ab muscles. If you diet, that will eliminate the fat around your abs. So if you combine diet and exercise, your fat will decrease and your ab muscles will increase. That is how your ab muscles will show.

someone told me that running is the best thing for getting rid of the excess stomach. Try looking at your diet to.......too many carbs????? At one point I changed to raw foods and exercised everyday I lost wieght fast. It takes time and lots of motivation, try to find a buddy to do it with.
