A chain, guys like chains, even 12 year olds. He can keep that for a long time. Maybe a locket with your picture in it. Walmart would have one at a reasonable price.

ok so theres this place in the mall called "things remembered" go there and have a picture frame engraved with your names. then get a pic of the both of you and put it in the frame
