I don't have a mom that is obssessed with her looks, but no matter how pretty she is or thinks she is it is what is in the inside that really matters. I would not worry about needing to go through the same thing as your mom when you turn 30 sweetie. i am 54 and i would not let then take or put anything in me or on me to make me look younger. take me as i am or don't take me at all.....that is my motto.
as for being able to make her stop, i don't think there is anything to make a vain person stop what they are doing. in the end all that she is having done to her will disappear in the long run and she will see she has wasted money on everything.

Well, my mom is obsessed with her looks even though she does everything to become pretty.... she just looks the same. I don't believe anyone should have plastic surgery, especially since it has not always been successful. My friend's mom is TOTALL obsessed. She wears Abercrombie more than her daughter and gets celebrity haircuts. She looks like a supermodel but I don't think she should be wasting thousands just to look pretty.
Don't get discouraged- Everyone is beautiful!

Your mother's advice about saving money is good, but I'd save it for something other than plastic surgery. You probably are perfect as you are and you don't need any changes now or later. She probably won't change her mind about plastic surgeries, so I'd just blow that off. It's often said that plastic surgeries become an addiction.

Your mom sounds insecure about her looks. 30 is one of those ages that really gets to adults. Keep things in perspecftive. You don't have to get plastic surgery when your 30 unless you want to. You probably will not get her to stop what she is doing but you can not let it affect the way you see yourself. Don't let somebody else's insecurity become your insecurity too.

you will not be able to change her,she is obsessed with her looks, just look at it like it is ,and just accept the fact that she is scared of losing her looks..You will not need plastic surgery when you turn 30,thats her thinking.Don,t let this behavior affect you.You say you are cute and im sure you are ,just stay like you are....Don,t let this make you feel ugly.....

Moms around made to be annoying enjoy the fact that you have a mom you will miss her when she is gone. Your mom as low self esteem issues. I you tried to talk to her telling her that you don't like the way she talks to you about your looks. Tell you are happy that she is trying to make herself look better but you are happy the way you are.
