In the Christian version of the Bible (as told in the book of Revelation) Armageddon is the final battle between God and Satan and all their armies. It's supposed to take place in a valley at the crossing of Mageddo and blood is supposed to fill the valley up to the chest of a horse. (intense). I understand that isn't the answer that you are looking for. The Tribulation is the period of seven years when God will unleash his judgement upon earth through a series of plauges and earthly disasters. (these will be the worse imaginable events the earth has ever seen or will ever see). So to finally get to answering your question, no, people in hell will not be getting a break from hell. The Tribulation is about God giving people one last chance while they are beathing on earth to accept Christ and believe that He is the Messiah and the other purpose that this serves is that God is creating a new Heaven and a New Earth and He cannot do so while the world is lost in sin. I know this is all really heavy sounding and I would really recommend that you look into this for yourself and yourself alone. You don't need to listen to what people tell you to belive, you need to figure that out for yourself. But an important thing to remember is that the Bible and Christianity is filled with much much more than just fire and brimstone. It's a love story, through and through.

There is no hell, it's a fictional place. Armageddon is only mentioned once it the bible. It was a place in ancient times where battles were fought. Read the bible and catch up.
Armageddon, also spelled Har-Magedon in some modern English translations, is a climactic battle between good and evil mentioned in the Book of Revelation in the Christian New Testament, or more generally, an apocalyptic catastrophe.
The word Armageddon in Scripture is known only from a single verse in the Greek New Testament, where it is said to be Hebrew, but it is thought to represent the Hebrew words Har Megido, meaning "Hill of Megiddo". Megiddo was the location of many decisive battles in ancient times

Only if they had the presence of mine to hang on to their get out of hell free card.
Seriously, there's no hell. That's just religious propoganda. So no need to be scared of hell.
What's really scary though is the number of religious nutjobs who think a world war, perhaps complete with nuclear weapons, would be a great thing because then Jesus would come back. If that is not the most ignorant, twisted, morally depraved idea ever I don't know what is.

The degree of punishment will be commensurate with one's sin against the light which one has received.
One good passage that indicated degrees of punishment is Luke 12:47-48: "That servant who know his master's will and does not get ready or does not do what his master wants will be BEATEN WITH MANY BLOWS. But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be BEATEN WITH FEW BLOWS. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked". Other verses on this issue include MAT 10:15; 16:27; Rev. 20:12,13; 22:12.
Jesus affirmed that the wicked "will go away to ETERNAL punishment, but the righteous to ETERNAL life" (Mat 25:460

Well, according to the Jews, the Muslims, and the Islams, you are going to hell for not following their god. Since you know folks are roasting in hell already, Doesn't that make you feel better knowing that you won't be alone when you go down the chute?

Their is a man in the book Corinthians that is having sex with his mother in law . he is told to leave the church least he repent . so he did repent and they let him come back . but it was said to him that if you continua to do that same sin over and over again his soul would be turned over to the devil to the day of judgment. my guess is this is hell . now doesn't say he would be cast in to the lake of fire which is not hell (clearly two different places) . because if he has Jesus as he Savior he will go to heaven . his punishment for his sin is that he waits in hell and get no rewards when Jesus comes back

No one is roasting in hell. The dead are raised (resurrected) from death.

To those who say it doesn't exist...in the New Testament the word "hell" is used 24 times. Of those 24 times, Jesus is speaking about it 22 of those times. So, one day when you stand before Him, tell Him that there is no hell...especially since He has done everything He can do to keep you from going there!
No, there are no breaks...it's only going to get worse for them AND it will go on forever.
