have you ever did a spell that work ... and was there any side effect from it that you did not count on..i have always heard that what ever you do comes back in three fold is that true

It is true, but it has more to do with intention. If your intention is to harm, you will receive that back at 3 times the strength. If your intention is to help, you will receive that back at 3 times the strength.

Yes, it's called the three-fold law. I call it the law of threes, same difference. If you put out positive energy into the world, then positive energy will come back to you, times three. If you put out negative energy, then it will come back on you, times three. I don't what you mean by side effects, any spell that I have done worked out the way it was supposed to, whether it was the way I wanted it to or not. If it didn't work, it was because it was not the will of the Divine for it to work.

Nearly all of my spells have worked perfectly. :) The ones that didn't, just...didn't do anything at all, for some reason.
I've never had a spell backfire - nor, do I believe they could. The Rule of Threefold is held by some Wiccans, but I've seen no evidence of it in my own life. I disregard it, and instead do good things because I want to, not because of a karmic dictate. :)

Well I'm not a Wiccan but I have practiced magic. Personally, I've never had anything (negative) come back on me threefold but I've known other people who say they have. I suppose it all depends on what type of magic you are working and whether it is for good or to cause harm. I would advise against working magic to cause harm unless you have a very good reason. While I don't believe in the threefold law, I do believe that everything you do does comes back to you. "What goes around comes around".
And to Maurice, actually I've had a lot of good come of it. You've never done it so how would you know?

I believe that what energy we send out - for good or for ill - comes back to us, and it's not just limited to spellwork. Like dropping a stone in a pond, everything that we do causes ripples in the world around us, and those ripples will reflect back to you as they encounter others.

first off wicca is a joke! a watered down verson of Thelema, and the guy who started it is a theving bastard. second the "three fold law" is call karma. good or bad everything you do comes back to you. and third, i have no problems with pagans. it's just wiccans, like chirstian, get under my skin.

witches think they have power....and they do have some...but verry verry little. and that is only what is been given to you that has been given to the demons which was given by satan which he beged for from God and that was a little to begin with.
True power is only held by God which is the trinity (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) Jesus when he was on this earth healed sick, raised the dead, and walked on watter and cast out demons and that was just a few recorded things he did (each gosple say he did countless other miricals which are not recorded)
and that power has been given to Christians and the bible says greater things then these shall you do.
I have seen the sick recover and I have cast out demons in the name of Jesus which is above all other names. If you want true power get in line with the one who offers it and follow His comands.
Oh and dont curse christians, insted of 3x's it gose back 10x's worse so I wouldnt try it. (and you never know who might be a christian ither so just dont curse people...its not right to do anyway.)
