No,most of the time you cant even leave the state that you live.I wouldnt do it unless you ask your probation office, and if you get the ok..,get it in writing in case they try to come back on you later for doing so.You have to be granted special permission.

It depends on the terms of your probation. I assume you mean formal probation as informal probation usually means you should just obey all laws and you don't have to report to anyone. On formal probation, you usually have to report to someone (in California, at least). In the two counties where I have practiced criminal law, the term is that if you leave California, you need probation or court approval in advance. I've never seen anything that suggests that you can't leave the US for a vacation as long as you get approval from the court or probation. But always get approval first.

It all depends on your probation officer and whether or not you have supervised or unsupervised probation. You have to get permission before-hand if not it is a violation of probation which in most states carry an automatic 11-29. I have seen a probation be dropped early if it is paid off early. Ask your probation officer, is the best advise anyone can give to you.

One of the funny things about probation is that you have to listen to the judge and your probation officer in order to stay out of jail. You must not have listened very well or you would not be asking that kind of question here.
Go have a long talk with your probation officer and make sure that there isn't anything else you have ignored, but need to know now before you find yourself in the slammer again.
