Why is he talking to me?
My ex and I broke up ages ago. He is dating another girl. He deleted me off his msn list and I deleted him off mine. He doesn't know I know this. He has sent me two emails in the last month. The first, he wished me a happy new year and merry x-mas. (I'm Jewish and that didn't matter)_ The second said I haven't heard from you, what's up and merry christmas and happy new year.
We were never really friends, we just made out a lot and dated 6months (more or less).
I don't want to be friends with him bc it will just hurt me. Why is he persistant on being my friend if we wern't friends to begin with? I'm just curious...
A guys perspective would be good. We never slept together either. Does he want to see if his new gf is better than me or does he want me? Thanks

fights happen, you blow smoke, and when that smoke clears things go back... thats just the way things work. If it has been a couple months since you broke up then for him it is like talking to an old friend. The chances of him wanting you back or comparing you are slim. You were so close that he probably cares about your well being and wants to be friends. Let him know that you don't

you sound young so "ages" ago could be last month. regardless, I sent my ex and happy new year email and a little something for xmas only because i truly miss her and i figure life is short. you can never have too many friends because most you have now will leave so keep high numbers. cut him some slack. he is interested. to get to the email stage he had to process something in his head about you. i would call it a compliment and he realizes this new girl does not hold a candle to you.

well maybe he's not having a good relationship with hes girlfriend and he thinks maybe by being friend with you, he might have a second chance to come back to you. because if he wanna be your friend what he would ve done before the broke up. he could've said. i think we sould ended the relationships and lets be friend. so if you broke up with him for that long, you have no right to be friend with him. it's over just move on.

it should not matter one way or another unless you want it to matter, he your ex. so if you dont want to talk to him then dont.
just leave it along and let him know that you not intersted in
anything anymoe that he has to say, he has a girlfriend so
that who he need to be text ect. and move on.
