yes, they are loving religions, except for the parts that had to do with the crusades and islamic occupations in the middle east. religions are made up of people, and you know the rest. at least penguins are a gentle breed.

I do not hate Muslims, but I have read some of the Quran. Islam is not as peaceful as it is made out to be, do not believe everything you hear, read it. There is a noticeable portion of Islam that is literally waging war on everyone else, they are called terrorists. We must stand up to terrorism. Not all Muslims are like this, especially in the US. I have Muslim friends here at college.

They do not.
They just have different religious practice.
They believe in One and Only God.

look at this example:
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"" Christians and Muslims for Peace
Christians and Muslims for Peace (CAMP) is a California-based organization whose stated goal is to "promote peace and understanding between Christians and Muslims". It is headed by the theologian and ex-archaeologist Professor William Baker, controversial for his expulsion from Robert H. Schuller's Crystal Cathedral mission after exposure of his affiliations with extremist political groups.[citation needed]""

Because their religions are very similar and based on a lot of the same laws. Given this, they seem to think subconsciously that the one should be more like the other because one is right and the other is wrong and nothing breeds hate like religion

yes ... the problems in sheikhs and priests but from the quran verses you can see that islam believe in christianity and all stuff belong to christianity ... but i needs attention from muslims ... and jesus told us to love all people ...
so both religions are loveable to each others but people are sick , so the problem is not in religion , it is in people
we need to change because as we are living now , we make religions as a gun .. and war
and this is not the message of religion
love 2 you

Consider it a humane nature to hold disdain towards people whom think differently........
Some Christians do not know that according to Islam , Jesus is one of their major prophets.... And that Muslims also beleive in his virgin birth...Jesus simply is not viewed as their Messiah....Yet they do believe in the same God -The God of the old testament - Allah is only the arabic word for God....

Because they're so much alike. Christianity and Islam are both children of Judaism and like many siblings they squabble a lot.

well back in the day when all religions hated eachother they didn't have too much fun together. Plus they are mutually exclusive. this question could be a bit of a generalization. To me Jewishness:Christianity::Christianity:Islam, in many ways.
