Yesterday, we had a half day at school, and this guy that has had a crush on me since the beginning of the year asked me if I had anything to do afterschool. I told him I didn't and he said, "Would you like to hang out with me and maybe see a movie or something?" and I said sure. We exchanged numbers, and I called him up so we could discuss the time and the movie. At first, things were awkward, but then he put his arm around me and we held hands for the rest of the movie. Then we hung around the mall together and walked around at first. Towards the end, we sat on these chairs and just talked for a little over an hour. At the end of the night, we hugged eachother goodbye. I also invited him to go to a dance with me in a few weeks and he said he'd love to go. I had a great time with him and I said we'd have to do it again and he agreed and said it was a ton of fun. I am not sure if this is a relationship yet or not and I need to know what some of you guys think.

This is definately starting into the bridge of a relationship. It's good you've found someone you like...just be careful, it's always good to find out about the man you're going to be with before you actually start a relationship with him. I'm pretty sure if these happy periods go on (I'm not sure if they are dates?) and there aren't any arguments, you might just end up married (Good luck!).

well i think that if your really unsure about it you should feel comfortable in asking him. I don't see this as being a relationship quite yet, but perhaps the beginning of one. I also think that you should ask him if he likes you and if these out-ings are considered dates. Me personally i go on dates first and then the guy asks me out officially after then we are boyfriend and girlfriend or after a few dates, you just kind of consider yourself to be that :)

I think you guys are on the verge of a relationship since you two have agreed to take it further than the first date. Next time you guys get together, ask him if he is thinking of your relationship as being exclusive.

You went on one date. Your not in a relationship. Give it time! After 3 or four dates depending on the situation it could be a relationship. just let the natural flow of it happen. Good luck!

Nope u guys aren't together yet. The only way u are together is once u guys show affection towards each other. Ex: Hold hands, kiss, make out, fart. The n it is something more.

You my feel like it is because everything is goood and great,but reality is, you are just starting....something. You just dated once. Who knows if YOU"LL even like him the same the next time your out. give yourself AND him time to connect. You have not had anytime to really see each other. Believe me you do not want to go to fast. Take you time.

It sounds like you're dating, but not seriously. Ask him- its the only way to know! Assuming things will just lead to misunderstandings, and one of you will end up getting hurt.
