back in the 70's, tang put out a grape version of it's powdered drink mix. was this just a test market that I lived in or was it all over the counrty? I would love to find some now. Has anyone seen it?

Not only do I remember it, I have some in my cupboard that I bought a year or two ago. It's still made, but most likely to be found in Latino grocery stores, as apparently that's who they market it to. I saw it -- early 90s, British Columbia.
Here (Ottawa), I can find Pineapple-Grapefruit (really, really good; has some 'ooh, real fruit' aspects to the flavour), Raspberry (a good version, but still like every other raspberry drink mix), and a fruit punch (eh).

Edited to add: apparently, they mean 'things we can easily get from companies in the US, not things that really don't exist any more.' There're a few things on the list that're in my fridge -- an Aero bar (made by Nestlé, not Hershey, but) and Kraft Creamy Cucumber dressing.

Eww!! Grape Tang doesn't sound so good... Go to eBay; the other day people were selling snow for $300. If you do find some, it probably expired. If it didn't tell me how it tasted. (lol)

i remember back in da day lol...the good old days when things were simple...i know in England they have an orange drink much the same and its so nasty lol..not sure where u can get this drink stuff..maybe you could on ebay but its too old now to ingest lol
