I actually like the halter top and liked that top with the lace bottom of the first one!
I don't care if it's "outdated" like some people are saying.. I only care how it looks on me and which dress will WOW my guests and most importantly my husband.

Is that you in the pictures? I think that for a Catholic hispanic ceremony, the halter seems fitting, although I actually think the first one looks better on your body shape. (Not necessarily from the halter vs strapless, but more of the shape at the waist and the fullness of the skirt.)

I really like the veil with dress two of your yahoo pictures, it goes well with the bottom of the dress but even if it wasn't for that it's pretty with the two-layer ribbon at the bottom and how it comes up at the sides. I think that it may need some kind of petticoat underneat if you go with dress 2, otherwise it makes your hips look a little big because the abdomen is so compressed by the corset top. Make the skirt look wider and poofier to highlight that that's intentional.

The back of 2b in the DB pictures looks nice, but I've never been a fan of the big bow thing. I think it looks juvenile, more of a bridesmaid thing or a quince. I prefer the bottom of the 2a picture from David's Bridal, esspecially with the veil from dress 2 in your Yahoo pictures.

The fullness and shape of the skirt in 2b on DB is really pretty if you're using a very large church. It'll be a pain for dancing though, and there'll be plenty of that at a hispanic wedding party!

I think the first dress is the right choice for you. The corset top is extremely flattering on you. It is much more contemporary than the other one with the halter. Both look very nice, but I feel that dress #1 is the right choice. It has a better shape and looked great on you! I believe the strapless looked better than the sweetheart neckline on the other one.

On a different note, I did not really like the gloves with dress #2. But it depends on what type of look you are looking for.

Both are excellent, elegant dresses. Which ever one you chose will look great. good luck!

I think dress 2 from the front looks a little dated but the back is interesting. When you are up front all the guests will be able to admire the nice detailing of the back and how unique it is. Dress 1 is much simpler, I can't tell from the picture what the back looks like. Is there a dress available that is strapless like dress 1 but has the unique backside like dress2?

Hey there :)

I know it's hard to pick a dress, but I'll give you some feedback on the dresses and how they go with you. Just looking at the pictures of the dresses themselves they are potentially beautiful dresses. The fact that you have to find a dress that suits you is the issue. In the pictures that I saw of you in the dresses, I find the second one with the halter to be overbearing for you. It's too much for your frame. The strapless a-line is more of a style for you. And I still find that one to be a bit 'heavy' ...Just my opinion.... you would look gorgeous in that same style of dress, but something softer, and lighter.

Good luck on the hunt! :)

I say dress 1. it's a brand new one. dress 2 has been around for a while and if you lose sizes between now and your wedding, u won't be able to exchange it if it's discontinued. (yes, you can exchange dresses at david's if it's new with tags in original condition. I asked... I bought a dress right before last year's fall line came out and fell in love with a new one. since i broke up with my fiance, it's gonna be a while til i get married, so i just take it out every coupla months and have it steamed.)
Sorry...dress one isn't BRAND new, it's part of last year's fall line, tho. the other one was around 2 yrs ago when i started looking.

I really like Dress #2
Halter Top dresses are so beautiful!

I'm not so thrilled about Dress #1 because of the top section of the dress. Looks too much like a corset.

Good Luck and Congratulations!

Dress 2, definitely.

i like all of them but i think #1 is a strapless and i usually dont really like that and i think the design on 2a is the best so i would go w/ 2a and 2b is pretty and flattering but too plain (i mean the bow is too plain, could have come up w/ something else to get attention)
