The story of Darwin's recanting is not true. Shortly after Darwin's death, a woman by the name of Lady Hope told a gathering that she had visited Darwin on his deathbed and that he had expressed regret over evolution and had accepted Christ as his savior. However, Darwin's daughter Henrietta, who was with him during his last days, said Lady Hope never visited during any of Darwin's illnesses, that Darwin probably never saw her at any time, and that he never recanted any of his scientific views.
Doesn't the Christian religion have a rule against lying?

Never mind whether it's true or not...
Who cares whether he "recanted"? It is the idea of evolution, that we honour by calling it Darwinism. But we don't worship the man, evolution isn't a cult of personality.
Darwins' original ideas have been expanded and refined over the last 150 years.
The idea has withstood the test of time, and the rigours of scientific examination.

Or when 'further study shows' a different result from the original research ( less desirable result) was it always due to error or was the first study part science and part lie? hmmm......

Probably, maybe, what the hell ever. Were you there? You have no clue what Darwin did on his death bed. You need to be more concerned with getting yourself right before you get on your death bed. In the end you will believe, You will see.

Some Christians believe in evolution. It's just the dumb ones who don't. I don't see why the two can't go hand-in-hand. That is, unless you take the Bible literally, and whoever takes the Bible literally has serious issues.

Evey day scientists prove things from the bible are in fact true. Many scientists are christens.Yet many don;t wish to believe.All I can say is my GOD bring you wisdom
