I have an indoor cat in an apartment. He doesn't watch T.V. He mostly just sits around. What do you think is going on in their heads when their just sitting there.

I cannot answer that question for YOUR cat - but I KNOW what my cats are thinking - they are reflect deeply on the subject of how easy their life is.... Musing over the fact that they simply live life to do as they please , and they do everything only when they desire to!!

I sincerely think that all they think about is sleeping and eating. Occassionally my cat gives me a little glance, or chases crickets, and sometimes brings moth's into our house. Sometimes she watches television but ends up falling asleep. Therefore I think most cats would just think when thay are going to get fed or where they should take their next nap!!

Probably about very important things such as 'is there a kitty heaven' or 'do I have a purpose in life'. When he gives you that deer in headlights look he is probably musing over whether or not it is true love. I do not think people give cats the credit they deserve, they are insightful and [usually] don't judge you.

Oh confident! each and all of the time lol, it makes me leap up with fright and ask for forgiveness (cats call) and then I comprehend it is barely between the cats rubber balls that i'm stepping on. it is so humorous while that occurs! lol

I think they think about toys, mice, the outdoors, food, and being petted. I have two cats who sleep non stop. Judging by the way they jerk up and meow in their sleep, I'm guessing they mostly dream about playing.

Sleeping, eating, grooming, training humans, eating and sleeping again, maybe thinking how to get revenge on a dog and pampering themselves.
