I would like my boyfriend to become a citizen but i don't know how to get him to become a citizen. I'm 17 years old and he is 21. Right now he's in jail and he has been in jail in the past maybe like 3 times..i know. But i'm in love with him and i don't care..he's a good person and he loves me too..he's in jail over dumb ****. And i really want him to be here with me when the baby is born..and the baby is going to be born in or around march 3. I don't know how long he's going to be there for..he has court this tuesday coming up and hopefully they decide when he's getting out. So hopefully if they don't deport him, what can i do for him to become a citizen, so we can build a family and live inpeace?

He is illegal, been in jail three times...why is he still in this country? He should have been deported a long time ago.
Do yourself and your baby a favor, get rid of this loser.Otherwise you will live in hell the rest of your life.
He is a criminal,we don't need anymore of his kind in our country.I highly doubt he would ever be eligible for citizenship.
By the way,if he has been in jail 3 times,he is NOT a good person and they are all innocent according to them.

If he's illegal and a crimianl, no matter what the crime, odds are he'll be deported. What you could do is sponsor his entery into the US legally, and that would stand a much better chance of approval then if he just applied himslef.

First make sure that it's in the Kid's interests, and yours. If he's not going to be a good dad, don't involve him in your childs life.

Although I think you ar a bit of a dim wit for getting pregnant and wanting to stay with the guy ( especially because your life will probably end up BAD!! ) I would suggest you get some advice elsewhere...

The people who answer immigration questions on Yahoo are the last people you want to ask...They would like to cut of his balls and kick his butt across the border..

good luck.

Is he in jail for statutory rape? If not, he should be. Girl, you picked a looser.

If he's in jail, and has been in the past, I doubt he will be allowed. Hopefully they will deport him since he's a criminal (jail AND being an illegal alien criminal). Sorry but I really doubt there's hope for him here.

Hello, first of all, you should find out if you can get married right know that he is in jail, that way it may reduce the changes of him getting deported. About him being a u.s. citizen, it all depends on the reasons he got arrested, it might not be for a while.

sorry, he is not eligible to be a citizen...ever. and he won't ever be able to legally be in the US...ever. you need to leave him behind and try to do something good with your life...your baby is a good place to start. i wish you the best.

People who have commited crimes are suppose to be ineligble to gain citizenship (I know this because my husband is a LEGAL immigrant).

If you want to keep your family intact, I suggest you marry this guy and go live in his country of origin.

You had better snap out of your coma and pretty quickly. Forget him. He'll never change and will beat you up at least weekly if not more often.
