That's tough to pin down, because so many things have weird emotional aspects. Do you feel a twinge of jealousy or guilt because you don't measure up to the idealized picture of her you have in your mind?

At 16, I think that might just be normal. You're trying to get comfortable with your self image, and sometimes we pressure ourselves to measure up to our favorite celebrities.

If it's causing problems for you, you might want to see a psychiatrist. They get paid to listen to you talk, and they're not allowed to tell anybody, so it's nice to have that safe place to vent your emotions.

But I doubt it's OCD. That would have some more symptoms, and probably some that are more disruptive than crying. See if your mom is willing to make you an appointment to talk to someone.

Good luck.

Hey Kiki,
Nothing is wrong with you.But if u are planning to consult a therapist for this silly problem, this might get worse. But I suggest you please rephrase your question by explaining what u meant by nervous meltdown. What happens ??You gets fainted or something ? When my Little sister was at your age, she told me she is going through a lot of changes, and scared. I immediately realised that its the hormones that kicks in when she hits puberty. So, I told her to wait until she gets that its a normal procedure.I guess, thats the same case here.you are 16.U might have to wait for sometime.A lot of silly things will happen at this time... and U'll take it very seriously.
and always,
Be in good relation with GOD.Think of him as a friendly parent.tell him your problems.Im sure your are so adorable for him ... cos u r 16. :) see u.
Love
