Lol!
I have always wondered what his interests were, or hobbies even as well! I believe he was actually a carpenter..but dont take my word on it... read the bible to be sure.
But in my opinion- which should be a good example for us and our purpose God has set for us- is I believe that you can look at it like.. Jesus was 12 years of age when in the bible it tells us he went into the temple to pray, and he actually was teaching to people inside- this is when his parents didnt know where he was... and when they finally did, he was like: why do u act so surprised that I'm here??
As if to say, you 2 know who I am, and this is my calling.. But as you can see, Jesus knew who he was, what his mission was, he knew God the Father that early in his earthly life.. and he portrayed that in that part about his life in the bible. But the thing is is he was Patient in waiting for the RIGHT time God had told him to fulfill his purpose. He didn't rush things..he obeyed God and His timing, when obviosly he was built with the right gifts to go on then, but he didnt. So, this should be our example- Jesus waited for God's permission ( if you will) and when God said now, Jesus went full throttle and started up his mission for saving mankind- and achieved his goal- all in God's will.

That's an easy question. In Roman times, 2000 years ago the only literature of any kind about anybody was through the writers and journalists of that day, men like Josephus, Tacitus and Pliny.
These men wrote about everything that happened. They wrote in great detail and were very competitive. But over the 33 years of Jesus' life (including the early years when Jesus had only a small following these men wrote a total of about 50 words about Jesus, almost no mention at all. One writer did say " There is a man called Christus who has a following".
Then, after Jesus was crucified NOTHING at all was written about him for three generations until Mark wrote about Jesus and his life. No mention at all of anything supernatural was made.
Then another scroll was written by Mathew and by this time there was the introduction of the supernatural, the virgin birth for example. There followed 2 more scrolls called Luke and John but this was at least 75 or 89 years after the death of Jesus.
So the answer to your question is that nothing was written about Christ's early years because he was not considered important.
It was really the Romans that made Christ an important figure. And it was the Roman governor Constantine that chose him for his spiritual leader because Jesus had broken away from the Jewish religion of his youth. The Romans hated the Jews and by adopting Christ and Christianity they were able to widen the separation that Romans wanted from the Jews.
A great many words are reported to having been spoken by Jesus but they were never actually recorded except by folklore and word of mouth from generation to generation. No journalist heard them spoken and they do not appear in the archives of the ancient writings of that day, many of which have been preserved.
As well, no actual writing of any of the gospels have been preserved either.
Anything you read about what Jesus said is from folklore from the third or fourth century.

The first three books of Acts tell a little about the beginning of Jesus's life. He did not start in the ministry until he was 30 years old. Until that time, he was probably a fairly normal person; not doing too much to attract attention to himself. I've always wondered what his life was like...

He began while he replaced into 30, died at age 33. The Bible does not state that Joseph died, even though it relatively is existence decide for to declare he did. Joseph's spouse, Mary, travels with Jesus throughout Jesus' ministry, and interior the top, Jesus dies and hands her off to John to shelter her. there is likewise reason to have faith that Jesus lived in Nazareth till his late 20s then moved to Capernaum (see Matthew 4). From that factor on, Nazareth replaced into his "us of a", yet Capernaum replaced into his residing house.

The Bible was not meant to provide a biography of Jesus. The Gospels started out as brief narratives meant to record the teachings of Jesus, and then expanded to include some of his more significant deeds as well.
Until the age of 30, Jesus probably lived in Nazareth, a suburb of the Syrian city of Sephoris.

In Matthew, Mark Luke & John... They talk about how they fled to Egypt, and when they came bake and that at age 13, his parents Mary & Joseph lost Him only to fond him at his Fathers house... Read your Bible again, it all there, just not as much detail as the more important 3 years of His life & death. We can learn from His teachings which He did in those 3 years, but he lived the same His whole life, perfect & sinless!

There are many stories of Jesus before the age of 30 but the church banned them as heretical. Christianity was more diverse in its conception than it ever has been since the adoption of the canon (the bible).

They obviously knew he was the messiah because of the angels and wise men etc that appeared when he was born, and the virgin birth and prophecy. You would think that they would have kept an eye on him and written every detyail of his life, but not a word.
Even when he started annoying the authorities there is little written about him. The only stuff that was written in detail was after his disappearance when the details could not be checked.

Jesus started His public ministry at about age 30. Prior to that He evidently hadn't in effect, started His big push. I assume that the events prior to age 30 were good but not as noteworthy.

There are actually books about his youth, but those are in some of the gonostic gospels. But during later periods of christianity, they questioned how true these books, were and kept only the ones they really believed in. Obviously the ones of Jesus's youth appeared more septical.
