What do you mean by people that get on your nerves? Do you mean that you have a short tolerance for some kinds of behaviors and you know what will happen if you touch them physically. And if you think about it imagine going off on someone in prison. All kinds of people will be getting on your nerves there. Now being rude... OK. You can do that safely and only have to encounter their ire. Mean too if you must. Within the normal everyday activities of any social order things like that happen all the time. You can be crazy like them and get back on their nerves too. Good luck.

If they are getting on yoru last nerve, try to keep a couple of extra nerves around - look I am just learning this myself. Life is short. Just think "this bad day will pass. Tomorrow is a new day"

I am not being sarcastic or trying to insult you - just a good advice :)

The best medicine is walk away from those people that get on your nerves. If you beat them up or be rude its just going to have a bad reflection on you so just look the other way and it will be okay..It takes a special person to walk away and just let the other person make a fool out of theirselves!

Order this book, it can help:

http://www.amazon.com/Dealing-People-You-Cant-Stand/dp/0070078386

It teaches you better communication skills, and also helps you adjust your behavior so that the people that are upsetting you will get the picture. If they see you are not bothered by their behavior, they will get bored with you and move on to their next victim.

About the therapy...or counseling:

You are normal, everyone gets bothered by someone more than once in their lives. But, those that answered for you to get help are right about one thing: No one is worth getting this upset about. No one is worth risking your health (stress causes health problems) and no one is worth getting into trouble over (if you decide to "beat them up"). The best option is to ignore them. If you find you can't do that, then you might want to talk to someone.

But, I am sure you will be fine without having to resort to that.

Seriously, you need to seek the advice of a professional. Sure everyone has people that get on their nerves, bit not everyone wants to be rude or hurt someone over it.

You need to get help before you end up doing something stupid that you will later regret.

You have serious control issues. When things aren't going your way or people aren't doing what you want you get upset or stressed. You need to seek advice from a counselor. There is no reason why anyone should have this kind of affect on you. If they are ignorant, ignore them and move on. Wipe you *** with them and move on.

Therapy can help. It will at least help you understand why it is that you are getting so upset over something that it drives you crazy or makes you want to hurt someone. Maybe if you can pinpoint the problem you can resolve the issue. It might be that you just need a vacation.

IGNORE them! Plain and simple, don't let them get on your nerves, maybe they know that they are so they keep it up and do it more, if you don't show that it bugs you maybe they'll stop.
