yea. i'm pretty sure that is does. i'm assuming it's the juice from within the cactus. like the juice which comes from any plant and it's fruit. i've heard of prickly pear jelly.

Prickly pear is a flat-leaf, fleshy cactus. In the old west, many people in the desert would cut them open to drink the juice or eat the "pulp". I have no idea about the juice being manufactured for sell, but I do know that aloe vera juice is very good for you--you can mix it with other drinks or drink alone; and it tastes surprisingly good.

A prickly pear is a type of cactus.
The prickly pear like many cacti and other plants , flowers and then bears fruit.
The fruit itself is sweet ,has this amazing magenta color and lots of seeds.
It is the juice of that fruit that your friend is talking about not some how squeezing all the liquid from the green cactus plant- Yuck !

Prickly pear juice is cactus juice. You can drink it. And you can also use the prickly pear in cooking ... in eggs, in salads. A most versatile goody.
