I'm 16 years old and I've had a crush on this guy since october of last year. I think he likes me too; we get along well and talk a lot. The only thing is that I'm going to be moving out of state at the end of the school year because of my mom's job. Should I stop crushing on him now and save myself from pain later or will he think I was leading him on the entire time?

Ive had the same problem. A lot of people are going to tell you to let him go but thats not what love(or crushes) is about. You want to make sure that when you move you have no regrets. Go ahead enjoy it while it lasts but make sure he knows up front your leaving so he doesnt feel like you were leading him or using him and if its fine with him enjoy it. Dont miss out on a chance to be happy even for a little while. You may end up with a good friend crazier things have happened. Hope everything works out for you.

Well, the end of the school year is a long way off. There are many couples that will break up long before then. And who knows - your Mom's situation might change. So I say go for it!

I've ment through the same thing.You need to know if the crush is willing to work hard to keep you guys togaether even if you are moving. If it seems like there is no possible way to make it work than it probably won't work, but you never know. I hope that helped and that it really works out.

I would tell him how much you like him, but let him know that you are moving. You can still have a long distance relationship... email is free and telephone is cheap... It will eventually fade away for both of you, then nobody will have a broken heart

I think you should just tell him you are missing and want to stay in touch. He might understand. That is all you can hope for. Try to stay in touch with him.
