Yes !! it is very much possible to fall in love with someone on the diametrically opposite side of the globe. Your thoughts matching and one calling the other is not an unusualu phenomena yet it is not so common either.
I believe telepathy works. It has with me in a limited way. I have actually woken up someone I know from across the world at unearthly hours merely by thinking about wanting to have a conversation. Have you not felt what someone was about to say before they said it? Well its exactly the same here only the distance is a bit more.
