Have you ever seen a demon?

I know it's been asked before, but let me qualify a bit.

I've never seen one. And I'm not asking about angels here. I think many people have seen demons or devils, and many more have felt their presence.

All of the "good" angels in the Bible look like young men without wings and can be easily mistaken for ordinary men.

Of course a devil can appear as an "angel of light" or the Queen of Heaven or whatever is effective to its audience. Devils can certainly participate in a seance to impersonate the dead person being contacted by the necromancer.

Have you seen (or strongly felt) a spiritual entity that you believed was a demon?

Yes I have. There are different kinds of demons. I remember seeing a demon of death in my sleep. It was terrifying. It was revealed to me because a child was in danger. He had a mask. But I could see his eyes and they were terrifying and FULLLLL of Hate. He held a spear and there was a fire beside him.There was a reason and I was able to do something to help someone because of this dream.

The most recent dream i have had regarding demons was a dream of satan himself. I was a child in a home with my parents. Through the crevices in the wall of the house there was a snake slithering through. My mother saw it but acted as if it wasn't there. My father saw it and seemed to want to protect me but he was inadequate. So I was alone. As I looked I saw a massive snake, massive and long. His eyes looked at me. They were deep, dark, black and malevolent. His object of focus was me. He spoke to me. His words were murderous. He came at me like a huge train in terrifying slow motion. I woke up screaming.
I asked God why. He said ,in my heart, I wanted you to see. I wanted you to know not to fear the devil but to fear God alone. You see I realized that my parents couldn't help me. No one could help me. Only God could help me and defend me from this snake. I fully believe that this is the same serpent that talked to Eve in the garden.
Recently I have become aware of other demons. I'll call them 'every day demons.' If anyone out there is channeling spirits listen closely to this. I hope it will make you aware that this is not a good thing to do. The only Spirit I channel is the Holy Spirit. These spirits look like men of all kinds and costumes, like ordinary people. I started being aware that when I would lay down to sleep these characters would pass through my subconscious, when I would say the name of Jesus they would leave quickly. It's like they were 'busted.' They did'nt expect me to see them.One time it was two homosexual men. They were in my dream. Another time it was a be-sexual, transgender spirit. It seems that if I did not see them right away they would appear in my dreams. Sometimes it was a tormenting spirit. But surprisingly they were like people you see everyday. If stopped as they enter they can be made to leave. If not they can be part of your dream life. If I have these sort of dreams now I say Jesus and I wake from the dream. I think God has allowed me to see these spirits so that I will understand and guard my soul and for whatever reason He just wants me to know. I hope this helps you. God wants us to be 'armed and dangerous.'The bible says, "Our weapons are not carnal but mighty to the pulling down of stronholds."

I didn't see it but my brother and some friends did a channeling, I think thats what you call it, where someone acts as the portal for a spirit. They audio taped it and it was the most frightening thing I have ever heard, I know it is real because I know my brother and his friends and they aren't that smart to fabricate something like this. Anyway at first a small child came through and it sounded so scared, it broke my heart, then a demon came through, it was not the kid disguising his voice, it was an inhuman, evil voice. It sent chills down my spine.

There was a time I used to fight with my wife a lot, and we yelled and cursed each other. Usually after that explosions we sat, calmed down and apologized. But we noticed (and we are just talking about it right now) that when we did that, something evil could be felt on the air. One night after one of these fights, we heard strange noises around the house, footsteps, door and windows slams, moving furnitures, water running from the faucets, laughs, and suddenly my wife shouted as a tall guy in black was at the door of our bedroom, at least she saw him very clearly, and I felt him but couldn't see him. I got out of bed and confronted this entity. My wife could see him even when I turned the light. I had the feeling he began to run away from me and I went all the way after him. My wife confirmed later she saw him moving away from me and into the kids' room, the same path I took. I never saw him but I could feel him and chased after him all over the house until I felt he was gone. I began to pray in silence, until my wife asked me where the THIEF was gone. The house was all messed up, and I had to explain her later my version. We have felt some other sinister beings but nothing as spectacular. We are currently attending Church, and trying to be better people with ourselves and to others.
We have received the Holy Spirit and we try to keep Him with us all the time. Way better company!

I'm certain I did one night in the form of some small animal, maybe a cat. It jumped off my dresser. (we had no cats or any other animal in the house) I swear it watched me sleep for a few days I could just feel it. I even brought a bible to bed and I' not even that religious. I see them in my dreams all the time. Sometimes i wake up scared s**tless and screamming or crying. No one believes tho. But I know they exist.

Never seen one, but felt one breathing on my neck and heard them scurrying around and sensed their presence more than once.
On the brighter side, I sense the presence of the Holy Spirit pretty much on a daily basis. I like Him much better.

DELIVERANCE AND CLEANSING


Demons are fallen angels (Revelation 12:7) and spirits of Nephilim (See Genesis 6 and Numbers 13:33). These beings make up Satan’s spiritual army.


TO TELL IF A PERSON IS DEMON-POSSESSED, CHECK FOR ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING SYMPTOMS:

• Abhorrence of Biblical scriptures, the name of the Lord Jesus Christ or anointing oil
• Exhibition of demonic powers
• Ability to speak in demonic tongues (the counterfeit to the Holy Spirit's gift of Tongues). To tell the difference, you would need to have the Holy Spirit’s gift of Discerning of Spirits or His gift of Interpretation of Tongues or consult a believer with one of these gifts
• Supernatural strength in ungodly behaviour
• Self-destructive behaviour
• Wild physical movements as if being controlled by another being
• Complete change of voice
• Uncontrolled animal sounds


HOW PERSONS CAN BE FREE OF DEMONS

Demons gain the right of way to possess or attach themselves to a person when that person sins. Having evil thoughts are sins too (Matthew 5:28). Authority over ALL evil spirits is given by the Lord Jesus Christ to believers only (Luke 10:19). Believers have authority in Christ to bind demons and cast them out of persons (themselves included) in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, providing all persons involved in the deliverance have repented of their sins. Certain demons are harder to cast out. The persons involved in the deliverance would have to practice Christian Prayer and Fasting in order to cast out these demons.

SIGNS OF A HAUNTED PLACE

• Residents fighting often
• Things moving, malfunctioning for no apparent reason or operating on their own
• Items disappearing and reappearing
• Vibrations of furniture or building when there aren’t any earthquakes
• Sudden temperature drops
• Sightings of eerie or evil spirits, shadows or lights
• Eerie or evil supernatural sounds
• Sounds of footsteps or voices when no one is walking or talking nearby
• Bad odours (eg. sulphur, garbage, rotting flesh) that seem to come from nowhere
• Strange animal behavior
• Feelings of being watched

HOW TO GET RID OF EVIL SPIRITS IN YOUR PROPERTY

Evil spirits pass in and out of homes, apartments, buildings and even churches. On the topic of ghosts, souls of the deceased go on to either Heaven or Hell, so if you encounter an entity that looks or sounds like a soul of a human who has passed, bear in mind that demons can and do masquerade as souls of the deceased. If you are involved in occult practices or other types of sin, demons could possess you, attach themselves to you or be around you. These spirits may be attracted to certain items or symbols in the room or property. If you are saved, the Holy Spirit will let you know what these symbols or items are when you come across them.

If you are not saved, here is a prayer to make Jesus Christ your Lord and Saviour. If you say this prayer sincerely, your sins will be washed away, you will be redeemed to God, be saved from eternal torment, inherit the Kingdom of God and the Lord Jesus Christ will give you authority over Satan and all demons (Luke 10:19).

come into my heart.
I want to receive you as my own personal Lord and Savior.

As a believer, you can get rid of the demons in your property, land or room by yourself or with others who are saved by saying a prayer in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is better if you pray with other Christians because the Lord Jesus promises to be in the presence of two or more believers gathered in His name (Matthew 18:20). Before you pray, you need to do two things. First, identify any cursed items or symbols in the property or land and destroy or anoint them accordingly. Occultic items (such as Ouija boards, witchcraft books and tools, books and other media that are against Christianity, tarot cards, crystal balls, fetishes and occultic jewelry) and occultic symbols must be destroyed. Such symbols must be erased, removed or painted over, and occultic items must be smashed or burnt. For a cursed item that is not of the occult (an item that was cursed by a witch), you can anoint it, break the curse off of it and bless it in Jesus’ name. The second thing you need to do is use virgin olive oil that has been blessed (by a Christian) to anoint yourself and the person/s praying with you, other Christian residents and pets. Prayer to cleanse land, building or room:

“Heavenly Father, we worship and thank You for who You are and all You do. We give You all of the honour, the glory and the praise and acknowledge You as Headship over this cleansing.

We forgive all of our enemies including those who have cursed us or our property and ask You Father God to bless them. We repent of all our sins (list those the Holy Spirit reveals to you).

Lord Jesus, we thank You for giving us the authority and power to bind and overcome all evil spirits in your name (Matthew 18:18; Luke 10:19). In the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ, we break all curses that have been put on this property. In the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ, we bind all of you demonic strongmen and your subordinates and every astral traveler in this place, and WE COMMAND ALL OF YOU EVIL SPIRITS TO LEAVE IMMEDIATELY. We ask You Lord Jesus to deal with any demons or astral travelers who are refusing to leave. We pray against counter attacks, retaliation and revenge of evil spirits. We claim Isaiah 54:17 and declare that ‘No weapon formed against us shall prosper’. We thank You Father God for all angels assigned to us and ask that You would dispatch them at Your discretion.

We consecrate this place to You Almighty Father and welcome Your presence and peace in the name of Jesus Christ (at this point, use blessed virgin olive oil to anoint the doors, windows, gates and corners of your property). Thank you Heavenly Father for cleansing this place from all curses and evil spirits. We say this prayer in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.”

If in the future you experience demonic activity in the home, tell the evil spirit/s with faith, "I command you to leave now in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!"

If you’re still having difficulty in getting rid of evil spirits, practice Christian Prayer and Fasting and perform the cleansing again.

Because mankind is incapable of meeting God’s standard of perfection necessary to abide in God’s presence (Romans 3:19-20,23), God sent His Son Jesus Christ to pay the total debt for the believer’s sins and mercifully credits to his account Christ’s righteousness (Romans 3:21-28,5:1-11; 2 Corinthians 5:18-21). Jesus’ gracious act of atonement was complete and covers all sin (Colossians 2:13-14; 1 John 1:9). Salvation is not based on good deeds but according to the mercy of God (Titus 3:4-5). Believers are justified by faith; it is a gift by God’s grace (Romans 4:3-8; Ephesians 2:8-9). A true, living faith will result in a desire to live a holy, loving life of good works (Ephesians 2:10; Galatians 5:6; James 2:14-26), but failure to be absolutely successful at righteous living does not negate the believer’s justified status.
