Anyone can clean up their act. There's even a special program called EOP that helps students who would traditionally have a lot of trouble getting into college get in and pay for their education. Things will probably be a bit harder for you than for some other people, but if you know what you want to do and you prove your dedication through your grades and your completion of your chosen field of study, then there will be someone out there willing to give you a chance. Of course 22 is still a young man! 22 is just beginning your life!

Well if you go to collage and study a subject that is in great demand you could get a good job. There is a lot of need in the health care field.
At age 22 plus 4 years of collage it will have been 8 years that you have been on the straight and narrow so it should not hurt you too much.

Perfectly understandable how you feel. But you have to move ahead with your life and put the past behind you. You need a lot of positive energy to keep you going to school where you will learn and grow. You are a new person now, having learned some lessons from the past, and ready to break new ground. I think you have a great chance of making this a success. And don't forget the oppotunities you have in going into your own business too.
Best wishes!

Getting an education is only going to help you become a better person. If you have a hard time finding a job, you may need to 'hire yourself' and start a small business. From that perspective, you would want to major in something that you could start a small business with and that there would be a demand for.
Good luck!

You can find many reasons not to do right, but there is only one reason to do right. By making a mistake at a young age, doesn't disqualify you to have a future. You should go to college, and do your best. Talk with the guidance counselor to determine what fields would be good for you to pursue. Good luck. Always do your best and always do right.

Once you feel defeated, you will never make it. You got to believe in yourself. You obviously want something better than you have. You just need to take small steps. Apply to colleges. It can't hurt to try. Now if that don't work, apply for community college first. If money is a problem try a vocational or technical school or an apprenticeship.

A criminal does look extraordinarily undesirable on your resume, yet 22 is somewhat out of the cradle interior the eyes of maximum employers. With a criminal at eighteen, and no college, the those that could desire to offer you a sturdy job won't be very awareness. astounding job performances and gleaming revues from previous employers could desire to help, yet those could be demanding to come again by skill of.
