I’m 30 years old and have moved in with my 75 year old father because of his illness. He has major surgery and is still weak. I have discovered that before I moved in he had hookers come to the house where we live. I told him this is unacceptable for me and if I found out they come to the house now that I live here, I will move out. Do I install a web cam to see if he has them come to the house while I am away? If I do decide to move out, do I tell my extended family about the hookers? They may shun me if they think I left my sick father to look after himself without a good reason. I no longer respect or like my father and it makes me sick to think that whores come into the place where I live. He wants me to meet his current "girl friend" and I refused

What he did before you lived there was his business but I agree, now that you are living there he must stop inviting his "lady friends" over. Your father has to respect your wishes or you should move out and tell the family why. A web cam is probably a good idea to find out what is going on when you are away and also to see if his "ladies" are stealing him blind. He is your father and you need to protect him from himself.

what he is doing is illegal, you could be implicated ifhe is caught i would get out, if he can afford hookers he can afford a homemaker, he knows its wrong and if you tell family memebers what is going on they should understand, dont waste money on a web cam you know hes doing it and if you see the whores come into the house call the police, because with hookers come pimps and violence not to mention the drugs, worst case put your father into a "home". You sound like you have kind heart but a sensiable mind -- good luck to you

OMG! What is wrong with YOU! Let your father live out the last few years as he wants! He's single, elder, and is a man that needs affection too.... If you cant deal with it then oh' well! Mind you I dont agree with it and what those women do, but let him live his life....and has "his son" deal with it...and love your father no matter what! This isnt about you nor is it your house. Move out if you dont want to be around that stuff, but still take care of him....He raised you and took care of you when you were sick and now the table has turned....it's your turn to care for you father! And dont ruin his reputation, leave it as it is....it's his home and his privacy to do as he pleases!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

first of all you are his daughter not his wife,, he is old enough to
do what he want his health is what important, if he dies how
would you feel, his personal life is not your concern. you should
be there for him if you dont want to do this then may you should
just tell the family the situation. but you really need to look at
what he has done for you. the fact is that you should honor thy
mother and father, dont you think.

why is your dad's past sexual history any of your business. i sure don't ask questions about my parents
if he had hookers, that is his business. i would not hook up cameras, that would invade his privacy.
he is 75, just be thankful that he is doing ok from surgery

who made you judge and jury in your fathers house? what he does and who he invites in are none of your business, what are you going to do throw him of of his own house. You need to talk to some one and get over your high handed attitude, their your morals not his, live with it

They could murder him and rob him like one did in Edmonton to an older guy. It should be made aware to him it's not safe the lifestyle of having them around him.
