not quite sure what you're asking, but yes, tango and kotoba both mean "word" in Japanese. here's a great free on-line translator, perhaps you can find your answer there.

The name of the actual words is Romaji. The use of the Roman alphabet instead of symbols or characters such as in Katakana, Hiragana, and kanji.
Try using Babel Fish to translate web pages or any kind of text into English.

Dude, don't even bother with online translators. They're horrid, completely wrong, and are all the exact same.
